William was so helpful and happy to work with us if we needed anything. I really don't think he could be nicer :) The food was good, the rooms were clean and if anything came up that needed attention he took care of it immediately. Walking distance from town, but he would drive us in if needed. Great experience! Such a great family!!

Friendly service in clean hotel

Willie, the manager, is exceptional and went out of his way to make our trip special. He drove us to his mothers restaurant for Italian food and was always available to answer questions. The location makes it an easy walk to restaurants, etc. The room was spotless, but tiny. The mattress is covered in plastic so the sheets slide off. It needs a mattress pad on top of the plastic.

His house felt like my house

Found this place on hotels.com for a 1 night stay near La Piedra. I’m glad we chose this hostel as it felt like an Airbnb in Guatape. Oscar, the host welcomed us and said his home was our home for the night. It does have a view of the stone and the balcony was lovely to relax and to enjoy our breakfast. We got an upgrade to a larger space with 3 bedrooms for our group and it was very comfortable. We were able to walk downtown to Guatape at night / early morning to sight see and felt 100 safe in this area. Breakfast on the balcony was delicious. Had hoped for Colombian food but had to take into consideration it’s a hostel not a hotel. It was filling and very tasty. Oscar was one of 3 people my entire 1 week stay in Colombia who spoke English as he lived in the US for a bit. It was great to meet to meet him and share his home. I’m definitely recommending this place to others & hope to return one day.

グアタペに滞在した時に利用しました。ここまでは、ホテルが準備してもらったタクシーを利用して、空港から来ました。まず、スタッフがとても親切です。テレビのリモコンや朝ご飯の時間など、丁寧に対応してくれました。また、部屋の前に机と椅子があり、そこで食べた朝食がとてもおいしかったです。ちょうどいい量で、娘のお気に入りでした。部屋は広くはないですが、家族４人が泊まるにはちょうどいい広さでした。金額面を考えても、いい部屋です。

Great option in Guatape

If you are looking for a very comfortable, charming, lakeside hotel with free parking then this is the place. The beautiful walk to the city centre is only 7 minutes over the bridge. Delicious breakfast served on the terrace, free secure parking in the back, safe environment in simple decorated but efficient rooms with hot water, television, and wifi that works very well. Caring staff that made my stay enjoyable. Will be back!
