The place was extremely hot with a window that opens half way. I had a headache and nausea due to this. No hot water. I found a large roach walking near my luggage. I just would not recommend. I booked for one week I only ended up staying 2 days. I also did not receive any refund from the hotel.

First room right before going to bed I saw 2 bed bugs walking next to the headboard, went to the front desk and told them about the issue. Was moved to another room in a higher floor, no live bed bugs but I did see at least 4 dead ones close to the bed.

Solo había un ventilador y el calor en el cuarto era horroroso. Deberían invertir en aires acondicionados ya que es una hermosa propiedad y el servicio de los empleados excelente

Very nice staff at desk and restaurant. Not fancy at all but clean and friendly in the middle of Itagui. Ten minute walk to train, two stops to downtown Medellin

NOT SUITABLE FOR LADIES OR THOSE MOBILITY ISSUES
You get what you paid for. Sector crowded with prostitutes. Absolutely not suitable for women traveling alone. Had issue with breakfast, cheese spoiled, hair in scrambled eggs. You've to ask for showerhead, bathroom just mopped. Hotel expects you to cancel full amount at check in, otherwise daily. Price listed on line for breakfast not correct. With hot temperatures in Medellin it's impossible to cool the room, not even during eve/night hours. Bed sheets shabby looking. Personnel is nice, just doing their job within their possibilities. Website should be upgraded. No access for handicapped, steep chairs to entrance. Cheap price, cheap service. If you book, ask for higher floors, noise will be less of a nuisance. I can not recommend people. You don't control what's happening in your sector.

Good place to stay and inexpensive.
I do have to say the location is not for everyone but I like the area a lot and I had a really good stay here. I think it is my second or third time and this stay was the best so far. The room was spacious, employees are very nice and helpful and it served my needs for this trip in the city. I started by booking three nights but extended it since I was made so comfortable. I will stay there again in the future. I forgot to return the key card and left two shirts in the room but hopefully they will have me there again...lol...thank you to the staff for being very friendly!

This is a hotel where you go with a prostitute. Not clean at all, shower had no nozzle, dingy room with a funky smell. Beware of ever staying there.

Not the worst but not the best!
As backpackers, we read a review that Itagui was a decent neighbourhood to stay in. Although the hotel is on a back street, so quieter, the area doesn't feel very safe. Even local friends who visited said the area is not great and advised us to move. Police everywhere, people trying to get us to spend money in their clothes shops, tons of fast food but not many nice restaurants... Check in was okay, you need to speak Spanish as the staff don't speak English there. The room wasn't bad, small but clean. Bed was really hard and only got 1 thin pillow each. However, the bedroom and bathroom windows opened onto the inside of the hotel so it was soooooo hot, all the time. Unbearable to be in during the day, and at night we had the wall fan on but could barely sleep as it was so noisy. Needs some decent air con! We did tell somebody about how hot the room was but they just laughed. Went for dinner on the first night and had prawn cocktail - in the picture it showed it with salad and avocado, I checked if it was the same dish, but when it came it was just prawns in a sea of chopped onion and tangy sauce :-/ Also, while we ate we could hear nothing but amorous sounds from a bedroom window above! Not the hotel's fault, but not the best soundtrack to our dinner! Good WiFi and hot shower, although the listing said a rainfall head, and ours was more like a jet of water from a garden hose! Still, after so many cold showers elsewhere this was appreciated.

The room was tiny and the wifi never worked. The hotel staff undercharged us by a very small amount and was very rude about demanding the difference be paid despite the lack of wifi and poor facilities.

This hotel is great for the price. Freindly staff.
Rooms are not great but still a good deal for the price. I was most impressed by the helping nature of staff. Great people. I would certainly recommend this hotel to my friends.

I was just wondering if they could make the bathroom smaller. I mean shoot if your gonna make it that small you might as well go the whole way and just put a urinal or even just a sink/toilet combo like jail right next to the bed. If your gonna commit go all the way.

Nice budget hotel.
The bed could be softer. However this is great for the price. Wish they offered more rooms with airconditioner, but the weather was fine so that no Aircon was needed. This hotel is in the mayorista area, across from the truck stop complex with markets.
