House keeping can be better. The tables in the restaurant was not clean when I went there first in the morning almost everyday. The pillows in my room were old and hard. The rocking chair in the room was so old. The front desk staff were all unfriendly. They did not greet us at all.

Staff was pleasant and the gift shop came in handy when I woke up with a terrible headache and had forgotten to bring ibuprofen. Room was clean and roomy. They have sock gremlins though, lost a sock and turned the room upside down looking for it and it was nowhere. Haha! Something took it I swear... I'd definitely stay there again.

The tub in my room wasn't working but other than that the lodge was safe, clean, and quiet. I love the access to the deck. I was traveling as a single female and never once felt unsafe or uncomfortable. A charger was left in the room (turned out to not be mine) and the staff called me later in the day to let me know. Overall a really lovely experience!
