Costa Bahia Hotel Paseo Caribe
Staff were friendly and attentive. Room was clean enough, but not enough bedding. There were pillowcases on all, but only a bottom sheet on each bed and a thin cover that was a bit rough and scratchy. Hotel is older and shows its age.

El Conquistador Resort
Room was excellent with beautiful ocean view. Large room, comfortable bed, nice deck. Bathroom was also top notch. We did however have ongoing issues with the door that was not dealt with appropriately.

Overall, our experience was pleasant. However, the additional resort charges of $70+ per night felt deceptive when we discovered them at check-in.
