Hotel SU & Aqualand

10/10 Excellent

"If you want palace type opulence, then this hotel is not for you. If you want modern, clean cut, spacious, with excellent spa and fitness facilities, value for money, with amazingly helpful staff and guest relations and you like the colour white you'll love this place like we do. The pool and pool bar has a great spacious vibe, the gardens and outside space is well kept and tended on a daily basis. The breakfast is wholesome and bountiful, with lots of choice. The bar and food prices are also great value for money. The location is second to none and is our favourite on the konyalti beach area. Walk through the adjacent park with restaurants, bars and coffee shops, then jump in a taxi for a 5 minute journey to old town Antalya. It is subliminal. The hotel SU have an alliance with the Aydin beach club a stones throw from the hotel which is amazing, with great staff and service with a smile and a laugh and a great local wine selection. We stumbled across the Hotel SU but it is now our goto hotel in Antalya.. the suites are amazing by the way if you love space. The only hotel that provides a bed on your balcony, absolute quality.."

"This could be a lovely hotel but definitely needs lots more attention to detail. The music in the restaurant is so loud you can't hear yourselves think. We paid for a deluxe room with sea view but after two nights requested to be moved to the back of the hotel for a bit of peace and quiet! The music goes on until midnight, even when restaurant is empty. Housekeeping was a bit strange - they missed us completely a couple of times and, when they did service the room, didn't leave towels, replenish coffee, etc. Would try and avoid if possible."

"The Mira Hotel is in a prime location, with easy access to the beach, excellent restaurants, and great walking routes. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The room was a good size and was cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided and the bed made each day. There were, however, a few issues with the room. The kettle was heavily affected by limescale and was not usable. The wardrobe was also quite small and awkwardly positioned beside the bed, making it difficult to access. We had to move the bedside table away from the bed in order to open and use the wardrobe properly. The biggest disappointment was that the swimming pool was empty throughout our stay. When we asked the manager about it, we were told it would be filled the following week because it was "too cold." However, temperatures during our stay (16th–23rd May) were in the mid to high 20s°C, while the following week's forecast was for thunderstorms and lightning. If the pool and pool bar had been open, I believe it would have greatly enhanced the guest experience and attracted more customers to the hotel. Breakfast consisted of a limited continental selection. Tea & coffee were available, but there was no fruit juice offered. There was not much left and not restocked after 30 minutes of breakfast starting. The hotel benefits from a fantastic location and excellent staff, but several facilities and room maintenance issues prevented it from living up to its full potential."
