"The highlight of our entire trip to Ireland. We needed a place to stop for the night during our travel from Northern into Southern Ireland. We wished we would have stayed longer here. This bnb is an absolute delight! John, the host and Karen were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. We stayed in the carriage house with beautiful garden view, great to stroll through. The views surrounding the property were beautiful. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. The breakfast Karen made was delicious…our first try at black and white pudding which were yummy. Thanks to John and Karen, they provided us with recommendations for other sites to see along our trip. We will always remember this stay!"

"Excellent host, great communication. Cottage was beautifully decorated and spotless clean. Has more than you need. Everything is high quality. Appliances are good brands and all in good condition. Location is close enough to towns so there is plenty of good shops and restaurants yet the cottage is in a quiet natural environment. We woke up to birds singing. "

"The cottage was perfect, in a gorgeous area of wild Donegal. Easy walk to a couple of small beaches. Nice shop and pub a few minutes car ride away. The house was cozy and clean, with everything we needed. Anne had let us know that there was a sudden problem with the central heat, and the work needed to be done to fix it would have had the plumber there during our stay, and she didn’t want us bothered. The house was warm enough, and we made a fire in the evenings in the wood stove. Anne actually refunded us a discount for the inconvenience. Not necessary (it was mild temps), but a generous gesture from a good host. Would return in a heartbeat if in the area"

"Loved the remote location and cleanliness. House had everything we needed. We loved the sheep in the road and the twisty drive up to the house. Beautiful view out the front window. Had some wonderful fish dinners at Tara hotel in Killybegs. On the downside the mattresses were not comfortable for any of us. They were thin in the two big rooms and in the twin room it was old style and very bouncy. "

" Before booking there are a couple of things folks need to be aware of. The driveway up to the place is terrible. Its a 0.5 mile sand track and is full off deep holes 3 mph max. Its not the cleanest place with spiders webs and mould (they charge 70 for cleaning) dont know why.On the plus side. Youre right on the beach and the cottage gives you a great sense of old world living. "
