Amazing hotel - needs better heating

We had an amazing 2 story appartment however there was only heating in the upstairs. The down stairs rooms heaters did not work and it was a freezing 2-3 degrees. Really horrible night due to cold. Had to sleep on the couch to stay warm.

The TV would power up but wouldn’t get channel’s, it was all pixelated, I try to retune and check all the Ariel plugs nothing worked. The fridge wasn’t cold, felt as though the motor was working but the inside was warm.

Great location and OK room. Disappointed with general condition, unit has a kitchen with an oven, great, Lets cook tea but sadly no trays so we could use it. When did use it it keep tripping the smoke alarm, no smoke just the fumes. Very bad layout. The electric jug constantly tripped out when trying to use. Shower was over the bath with only a short glass partitions and no curtain so there was no way to stop the water going on the floor. We wiped it up but again very poor. Very noisy wit traffic noise from Westgate Freeway. Don't mind some noise but it seems very loud. Awe-full bed, why do they have a bed with hard ridge down the middle, two singles together and very cheap I suspect. WiFi was patchy, good sometime and a couple nights non existent. When I asked about WiFi I could tell this was a common issue and the response was an unsympathetic "thats how its is" walk around and find better coverage. Very helpful :( All in all just a bit tired I think, some staff were good but some need to find a new job as hospitality is not their thing. Needs management to take a good look at rooms and perhaps stay in one, spend a little money on the rooms. Ok but not good value.

Stayed 1 night. Ideal location from the tram stop as we returned from the cruise terminal. Lovely room. Close to the waterfront. Plenty of things to do. Lots of choice of eateries. 10 minute walk to free tram stop for City centre.

It seemed to be student accomodation of some sort and was quite scruffy. The bed was uncomfortable and sloped badly to the middle. The air conditioner was a very old wall based air conditioner and didn’t work very well and as my room faced west this was an issue. The security didn’t feel very good as there was very basic locks on the room doors. The staff were lovely. The property was close to the convention centre. Definitely not worth the price I paid.

We had a nice room with a great view of the city. The only negative was the air conditioning. There was a unit in the lounge but none in the bedroom which made for a hot and stuffy night sleep. Apart from this we had a nice stay.

A littlr too noisy

It was a little too noisy to have any window or doors open. Most balconies are unusable. Only our 3 bed apartment had any outdoor seating. Views were ok at night. THE staff were really lovely and accomodating. Lift was a little noisy too. But pretty good overall for the prices in the CBD

The property was great. The car park is absolutely hideous...trying to drive up the ramps is an absolute joke, and there is evidence that many MANY cars have hit the sides....for $25, the worst part of the whole stay Room was excellent, but noisy overnight as we were right beside the elevator shaft and it made a slamming noise all night. Cant fault the room, the location, or the booking/check in/check out procedure.

Hello didn't receive confirmation. Had to ring motel to get it. They sent out info of booking after it.depoist. can not be used for carpark deposit.had to do seperate trans action. Still not received my deposit back after 5 days not acceptable. Balcony door did not lock at all. Bed and room was comfortable. And spacious.

Very nice room and friendly staff made this is a generally pleasant stay. Only thing was a strong smell in the bathroom that seemed to be some sort of cleaning product with ammonia in it, but it was contained to the bathroom if the door was closed

Apartment was clean and very close to crown but every time we stay we have hassles Checking in. No parking, then long queues to check in with one staff member on counter then was given the wrong information which floor we were on. Had to wait another 10 mins before we could then be told that the wrong floor was written down. We did get given a bottle of wine for being mucked around. Not sure if we will stay again!

Booking Bundle

We arrived at hotel to find our booking wasnt valid! Showed manager my booking on app and he couldn't explain what had happened but he made sure we were looked after and they sent us to their sister hotel over the road, the Bella. Curious still as to what happened as if they didnt have another hotel we would not have had accomodation. Saturday night for three in Melbourne could have cost us.
