there were 2 of us in the room and only had 1 key, the entire apartment was all windows, and the shades did not keep out the light, the entire staff were very pleasant and nice

Good place to stay, bit of walk down to the shops but no big deal. All modern and comfortable. Only one gripe (and i'm being picky) is that there is lamp on the LH bedside but no way to plug it or a phone charger in.

Excellent location for our needs, secure parking, great views, well equipped, balcony could do with a clean and the garden bed on balcony overgrown with weeds on 3rd floor.

The only thing I can think they could do is replace the bed it was horrible and uncomfortable otherwise it was a lovely place to stay.

Booked a secured underground carpark, was told upon check in that carparks had been booked out for a week and we would have to wait until someone left and park in one of the 15 provided street parks which meant sitting on the road for 45 minutes. We ended up parking 2 blocks away and having to move the car at 1am.

On further investigation we can see you had request parking on the OTA the day prior to checking in however reception had not confirmed parking as we where fully booking already. This is one of the best apartment hotels i have stayed in. The amenities were all top notch, the access was easy espaecially as my mother who is disabled was accompany me and it was very easy to get to our room. I will definitely be choosing Punthill Ivanhoe again.

Very nice apartment in the Heidelberg medical precinct. A couple of nice restaurants across the road and main shopping area a 10 minute walk away. Very well presented apartment perfect for a short stay.

Very tired and a bit grotty - frypan was dirty, couch was worked and stained. Wifi didn't work at all. Lock to the apartment was faulty although with jiggling I got it to lock. Overall needs a bit of TLC. The staff were lovely though.

We booked through hotels.com. We had correspondence with the property via email as well as through hotels.com to organise a car park, check in times, etc. hotels.com “guaranteed” our booking. After a 2 hour drive with a 7 week old baby, on arrival they had no record of the booking, said because i booked through a third party website it was never going to be a guaranteed booking, they had no availability and couldn’t do anything. When shown the email sent from their hotel reception address, which they confirmed was definitely their email address, they said hotels.com must have sent it because they didn’t. They blamed it on a scam and said the phone call didn’t come from them, even with being their phone number listed on their business cards. Either a very clever scam with access to the properties email address and phone number and therefor not secure, or made a mistake and had no intention of admitting it.

Upon further investigation we have found a system error and this booking dropped out of our system for reason unknow to us. This can occur with third party bookings. Easy check in/out with very friendly concierge. Property is well appointed with easy access to local amenities such as restaurants, shops, public transport, hospitals etc. Unit was clean with a comfortable bed. Limited bathing products so it was good I brought my own. There was a hairdryer. Traffic noise can be an issue particularly from ambulance sirens due to the property’s locale. Overall enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend and will come back.

Was here for a family medical crisis and found the staff friendly, helpful and understanding. Plenty of public transport and restaurants around. Be prepared for hill walks as the apartments are at the top of a long, relatively steep hill.
