Hotel was clean and tidy. Booked a 2 bedroom apartment with ensuite and main bathroom, got one without ensuite which was an inconvenience for us. Water pressure was great in morning not so flash at night.

Great location, easy to get to, tram outside door. Two bedroom and one bathroom - well equipped kitchen. Helpful friendly staff. 30 minutes walk to mcg/tennis centre through beautiful gardens. Good wi fi. Would stay again.

Great Place to Stay, definitely recommend!!

So close to everything, Tram access like right out front. Heaps of places to go eat, st.kilda road like 100meters away, crown casino nearby 5min taxi. Clean rooms and very helpful staff with great knowledge of the local area and what to do if you’re looking for activities

Close to city

Everything is good. Nice room, easy car park, restaurants around. Don’t recommend Olive Tree restaurant. Pizza across the hotel is good. House keeping not the best. Does not clean mugs or ashtray in balcony. Does not replace toiletries. Only does bed and change towels.

Good location, rooms were clean and comfortable. Some fittings were a little tired, e.g. lounge room blinds, and the rooms were starting to look a little worn. Would stay again.

Room was comfortable and well equipped for our family of 5. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Lolly wrappers under couch cushion does make you question thoroughness of housekeeping. Bathroom extractor fan didn't work, making the bathroom very wet for the duration of our stay. We were woken up at 1am by people leaving an adjacent club pushing our intercom buzzer. This is not the hotel's fault, but worth mentioning if you value a good night's sleep.

Great location. Close to Msac

Great location close to public transport and sporting facilities. Great for families traveling with teenagers. Close to supermarkets and assorted cafes. Easy walking distance to various tourist attractions.

Convenient but noisy on Weekends.

Our apartment was good value for the four nights and mostly it suited our needs. The paint needs a freshen and the carpet and bathroom could do with a deep clean to get rid of mould/stains but the furnishings were neat and tidy and the daily service was appreciated. Would I stay here again? probably not. The apartments are next door to a cocktail lounge/night club and on Friday & Saturday night the noise was unbearable in the main bedroom. Probably ok if you are out partying but not when children are in bed at 7pm and get up anytime from 530am. The location is good, a quick walk to domain interchange for trams to the city, zoo, St kilda and Nara Thai on the same block was fantastic.

Very convenient spot

It was a great spot. For an overnight stay, it was very convenient for us as it was close to cafes/restaurants where we could get dinner and then breakfast quickly.

Excellent facilities

Serviced apartments with modern furnishings. Spacious living area. Full kitchen and laundry facilities. A couple of things to be aware of: no onsite check-in. You must check-in at the nearby Quest apartments in Dorcas Street (less than five minutes walk). Factor that into your arrival and departure plans. Also, there is a long flight of stairs at the building entrance, winding staircases between floors, and no elevator facilities. Something to be aware of if travelling with eg. prams, bicycles.

Hotel close to city

The apartment was an amazing experience and I would stay there again how ever the shower head wasn't full pressure and didn't know how to fix it other then that everything went well.

Convenient location, great Reception staff

We booked an apartment at the Quest South Melbourne but were moved to the Quest on Dorcas when a large group extended their stay and overbooked their apartments. I was told this was an upgrade from 4 to 4.5 star accommodation but didn't really feel that we got an upgrade at all. We went from a sofa bed to an extremely uncomfortable fold out camp style bed, there was no corner spa so we lost out there, and only one bathroom between five women - far from ideal. I was told when they changed my booking that there were Apple adaptors available at Reception if the dock didn't fit my iPod, which it didn't, then was told on the day of our stay no adaptors were available - this meant no music for 18 girls at a gathering prior to us leaving for a hens party, very disappointing! The reason I have given a favourable rating despite all of this, is because I have ranked the attributes as a stand-alone - that is, if I had just booked the apartment to stay in for the night without being moved. The Reception staff were wonderful when it came to notifying us of our guests arriving, and in accommodating us and our needs, I just felt that we were let down by being moved to the other building. It was a lovely apartment, just not what I had been expecting.

The apartment was roomy and well laid out. it would be helpful when booking to highlight that check-in is at Quest on Dorcus, especially when you don't have a vehicle. It would also be very useful to have a clear statement that there is no lift and the staircase is in an external courtyard, with limited rain shelter. Noise from rear entertainment venue each night about 10:30-11:00pm.
