After many tephone calls we were told that the we boiler was not functioing. We were given grossly inadequate heaters which did little to correct the situation. "The staff were so kind and helpful when I arrived, and helped me with my luggage and suggestions for how to get to the city center. The hotel was clean, cool, and quiet, exactly what I needed. It was so easy to get there from the station, too. The cafe was great for snacks and drinks, and local amenities were perfect for light meals. The only down side was they had run out of ice and it was very hot, so ice would have been nice. I will certainly use this hotel again."

"The room was excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful, the shop was a little expensive but nothing you wouldn't expect from a hotel and the selection of goodies was just right. Breakfast was delicious and the location perfect! Just wish we could have stayed longer! Will definitely be going back! The only thing to mention is to be warned of ridiculous parking costs! Nothing to do with the hotel as car park was managed separately, but we parked for just under 24 hours and it was £53! Highly recommend the Wilde 👍"
