Pioneer Mountain Cabins is a private getaway that provides modern accommodations while maintaining a traditional Montana cabin stay. Located in Melrose, Pioneer Mountain Cabins offers accommodations with a balcony and free WiFi.

Nestled near the world famous Big Hole River of Montana and the magnificent Pioneer Mountain Range, the Pioneer Mountain Cabins offer the best in country living. Located in the quiet country town of Melrose Montana, this area provides endless outdoor recreational activities for you and your family... whether it's a major family vacation or simply a weekend getaway. Available April through December, we have four cabins that are within a short walking distance to one of the best fishing spots on the Big Hole River. The fishing is world-class, and the wildlife is abundant... it just doesn't get better than that!

The Pioneer Mountain Range is made up of magnificent mountains that are rich in wildlife and scenic beauty. Moose, deer and elk are often spotted along the foothills, and occasionally you might even get a glimpse of a mountain lion or bear!

Each of our four cabins are equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, AC, satellite TV, complete coffee service, bathroom, front porch, firepit and private deck. Two of the cabins have two private bedrooms with queen size beds, and the other two cabins have two private bedrooms with a queen size bed in one room and two twin beds in the other. Our cabins are wheel-chair accessible as well.

Very cute cabin

The cabin was very cute and perfect for our family our 4. The beds and bedding were comfortable and soft. Also, I t was easy access to the I 15.

The hostess called us to tell us the unit was ready early, if we needed it.Very clean, comfortable, nice rural setting.Walked down the road to the Hitching Post restaurant, which was a total hoot. Good basic fare complemented by some very high end dishes.The Pioneer Mountain Cabins are perfect for fishermen or through travelers tired of the usual smaller town blah motels.

A little dated but super cute, clean, quiet and cozy cabin in nice small town. Bar and grill around the corner is nice too! I'm not a fisherman but it is right off a creek/river and I hear the fishing is terrific. I would recommend staying here.

Non smoking

The only disappointment was this was supposed to be a non smoking cabin. We are all very sensitive to smoke and the cabin definitely smelled of previous smokers.
