"We very much enjoyed our stay. Very clean, modern amenities with a great view of DC out our room on the 6th floor. You could even see the Washington Monument and dome of the Capitol in a distance. Great location in what seemed to be a safe area. We were in close proximity to a number of sites. Parking is an extra cost but convenient and the affordable price of our room made up for it. Amenities met all of our needs. We appreciated that the room had body wash, shampoo and conditioner, that there were snacks and beverages for purchase at the desk downstairs, that there was a restaurant (with a delicious but small breakfast buffet), and that the staff were all very kind, friendly and welcoming! Very convenient that there is also a gym and spa available, if desired or needed—although we did not take advantage of those amenities. The king-size bed was very comfortable, as was the bedding. The couch in our room did look like it was due to be replaced; but, the room was otherwise was satisfactory. Would highly recommend and come again! Thank you for a great stay! "
"After a snowstorm knocked out power at the hotel I had initially booked, I thought my trip was sunk. Amazingly, the Lyle had a room, and I was able to book at the last minute. What a gem! The room was warm and cozy, and I almost missed my dinner plans because I didn't want to leave. Everyone was delightful, and it was extremely quiet. Can't wait to stay here again. "
"Staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the area. Communal kitchen is well stocked. Great value for an overnight or short getaway and one of the most comfy beds I’ve slept in. "
