"There was a surprise $100 deposit when we arrived on top of the price for the room which we had already paid. Check in was at 4 PM, but you still check out at 11AM. For a 3PM check-in, there’s another fee. The hotel was nice. The staff was professional. But, the policies made it feel like a bootleg operation. You really don’t have to interact with staff at all, though. You receive your room key in your phone. You can check in and out without interacting with any staff. I’d recommend if not for all the surprise fees. If a hotel does that, what’s to stop them from saying you did something so they can keep your deposit."

"As I was leaving, I dropped my wallet. The staff called me and told me to come back and get it. Nothing was missing. The staff here are very respectful, and always greet me with a warm welcome. I love this hotel."

"Super cute hotel in downtown Memphis! Staff was really welcoming and helpful. Room was showing a little wear but bathroom was really clean and renovated. Area around the hotel is great, you can walk down to the park by the river or to a restaurant. We drove about 10 minutes to eat at Hattie B’s hot chicken, so good! Loved this hotel and our short stay!"
