The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious! We enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch and the large living room for visiting at night. The beds were comfortable, and the house was well stocked with everything we needed.
We stayed at the house while in the area for a family reunion and absolutely loved it! It was immaculate and well stocked with amenities. Every room was nicely decorated and we liked all the room to relax. It's in a great location and we enjoyed our walks over to the lake. The coffee shop and cafe are in easy walking distance and had great menus. We are already making plans to book again next year. Great place!!
Pam and Janelle were great hosts. They have a beautiful home that worked perfectly for my family. The walk to the beach was really short and the swimming area was so great. They had everything in the house plus more than we needed.
Great location to create wonderful memories!
Our goal for the week was relaxation, fishing and swimming. Kids in our group ranged from 7-16 and everyone had a blast. Location right across from the city park and beach was perfect and convenient for unlimited beach and swim time. Also many lakes near the area to fish. The house was huge with room for everyone and all the “little things” included. It was a great week and a great place to stay.
The property was perfect for our family! The rooms were spacious and everything was very clean and well stocked! The location was ideal being right across the street from Spirit Lake and we found an elementary school nearby with slides and swings to keep the littles busy! I would definitely recommend this property!
Very nice historic home, spacious. Kitchen very well stocked. All rooms and beds were comfortable. Front porch and back fire pit were a hit with our group. We enjoyed the location, right across the street from Spirit Lake with a beautiful large deep beach, ice cream shop right off the beach. Lots of extras like fishing poles, pack and play, plenty of towels, blankets, hooks for drying clothes/beach towels. The owners have put a lot of effort in making this a comfortable stay. The upstairs kids room was whimsical but the electric situation seems a little tenuous the use of extension cords and some outlets not working.
Happy with the experience that the host provided. Very clean and well-equipped. I will give them 99 out of 100 and would be a hundred if there were an extra shower. Still, very happy with everything.
We had a family reunion at the Stately Home. We found everything we need (and somethings we didn’t know we needed) in the kitchen. The hosts responded promptly to our questions and checking in was a breeze. I think the experience can be summed up by our 7 year great niece. She was visiting from Japan. During her first video call with her Dad, who was unable to join us, she walked through each room showing her dad the “fabulous” house we were staying in. As we were leaving on our final day, hugging everyone, this same 7 year old hugged me and said “thanks for this perfect house.”
