"Wow - lovely, warm, and inviting - the host has thought of everything for the decor and modern furnishings. We loved hanging out on the large screened porch with twinkle lights. It was fun to go to Brow Park and to Wildflower Cafe. Roadside Que in Fort Payne has delicious BBQ as well."

"This property is beautiful and just what my mom and I needed after a challenging period of time. The location, view, amenities, and overall vibe of the property is absolutely spectacular. As we approached the property and saw the drive and view, we were amazed. Opening the door to the cottage was one of the best parts of the trip as it is total perfection! So cozy and comfortable with a beautiful front porch for sunset viewing and a screened porch for enjoying morning coffee. I can't recommend...

"I first took my granddaughter (11 at the time) who was staying with me for a few weeks in the summer two years ago. She wanted to bring her younger brother who is now 10 to go camping again this year. We all had a great time. Jerry could have stayed with the animals all day!! Scott was very patient with showing and educating us about the animals. You could tell he loves doing it! SSSSSOOOO CLEAN, AWESOME COMMUNICATION, EVERY DETAIL MET, kitchen- SUPER WELL STOCKED, bathroom- every item you may need was there, bedroom- basic stuff PLUS MORE bug machine, charging stand- SMALL desk with supplies...NOTHING OVERLOOKED HERE. "We were fortunate enough to stay at Huckleberry while in town for a wedding in Trenton. It was a great location for us. We were able to visit beautiful Cloudland Canyon State Park as it is nearby. The cabin had everything we needed. We enjoyed all the lake/fishing decor, so cute! The lake is nice to take a stroll around. Would definitely recommend!"

"It was a quiet cabin...a little hard to find as GPS wanted to take us to the other side of Co Rd 89...several times The cabin was quaint, clean and just a relaxing time for our 10th wedding anniversary...we should have brought our dog but we were worried he might freak in a new place"

"The property was adorable but we did experience some challenges. The primary main floor bedroom had drawers/storage area that smelled like cat pee. There is a moisture problem. We saw black mold around the baseboards near the washing machine in the main bedroom, which may be the culprit on the odors. The shower also has not been property cleaned; orange mold was growing in the shower. Lastly the cooling units were unable to properly cool the cottage. We did communicate these items to the owner...

"This cottage is PERFECT! We have enjoyed staying in the main house for several years, but this was our first stay at the cottage. Although it shares ALL of the wonderful amenities of the other house, it has a unique and special personality of its own! The front porch with its gliding rockers has become one of my favorite spots to read and relax, and you can hear DeSoto Falls. It is also a great place to see and hear the many interesting birds in the area. I was quite excited by my first close...

"The house was way more amazing than what the pictures show. We loved the vaulted ceilings and the amazing view in the backyard. There's no wifi and we all loved that. You have enough service to make phone calls but youre not on your phone on social media. The service was amazing as well. Its right by the falls and the café down the road is veey mom and pop like and we all loved the food and atmosphere. Will definitely be going back soon. Thank you so much!!!"
