Welcome to Sandy’s Mentone Magpie, a 2-story cabin just minutes from Desoto Falls & State Park, Little River Canyon and Downtown Mentone. Inside, you’ll discover expansive living spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, and bedrooms designed for rest and comfort. The cabin is filled with unique handcrafted wood carvings and vibrant mosaic art, adding personality and charm to every corner. Enjoy entertainment like a Pacman game table, pool table, and smart TVs. Find serenity in the Zen room or soak in the hot tub. Outside, explore private trails, gather around the firepit, or lounge on the porches. This cabin offer a blend of indoor charm, artistic touches, and outdoor adventure.

Most cars can easily access the home and nearby areas. There is no public transportation, so bringing your own vehicle or renting one is preferred. While Uber and Lyft are available, getting a ride may not always be easy.
➤ Sandy`s Mentone Magpie has neighbors to the left and right, although they are barely visible due to the boulders and trees creating privacy.
➤ Starter kitchen and bathroom essentials are provided, but guests will need to supply disposables and restock items for the duration of their stay.
➤ 2 twin trundle beds available in the sunroom; bottom bed rolls out for each and can be positioned anywhere for extra sleeping space.
➤ Exceeding maximum occupancy is not permitted.
➤ No third-party bookings (must book under your own account).
➤ No parties, events, smoking, vaping, marijuana use, or open flames (candles, incense, sage).
➤ Quiet hours begin at 10:00 pm. Please keep noise to a minimum.

1. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; please be respectful of the neighbors
2. No parties or events allowed
**If small events are allowed: We welcome small, calm gatherings such as baby showers, family birthdays, and similar events. However, all events must be pre-approved in advance. Please provide details, including the number of guests and duration, for consideration. Large parties, loud gatherings, or disruptive events are strictly prohibited. Guests are responsible for ensuring all attendees respect house rules and neighborhood quiet hours. Unapproved events may result in cancellation of the reservation and additional fees.
3. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible
4. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed
5. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund
6. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them
