"We were greeted with a warm, friendly check in. Thankfully we were given both our rooms a couple of hours early - appreciate the flexibility from the hotel. Filepe was extra helpful throughout our stay - suggesting places to eat, organising taxis etc. We found most of the staff to be very friendly. Great location. A nice walk or 5 min uber to pelourinho. 30 min stroll to Barra or a quick uber ride. Good size gym and pool. Good size bedroom. Nice breakfast. We had one dinner in the hotel restaurant and found every dish was really delicious and great value given the quality of the food. Service in the restaurant was attentive. We would definitely return here."

"Worth every dollar/ euro! I travel a lot for work in Asia, Africa and Europe, and have spent my fair share in many properties. The Fera hotel is simply gorgeous and its staff are amazing. From the warm, welcoming and professional team at reception to the cooks and waiters offering sumptuous breakfasts and lunch each day to the maids who left no detail overlooked while cleaning our room to the rooftop bartender who kept us hydrated and happy each afternoon through sunset. The building itself has been lovingly restored. We loved the details of our Superior room and its views of the city; the eye-catching and beautifully designed common areas (lobby, restaurant, rooftop pool); the incredible sunset views from the rooftop each evening; and even small details like the fragrant satchels of lavender left next to our pillows during each evening's downturn service. The hotel itself is ideally located in the Old Town with fantastic restaurants nearby and only 10 minutes from the Barra beach neighborhood. Highly recommend!"

"Claudio and staff perform an excellent job all-around. Very grateful to have stayed at this quite unique spot in Saude. Very convenient to many historic sites in Salvador which is a plus. And guess what, they serve a breakfast that is to die for!!!!! Will certainly look to return."

"The big win for this hotel is the location, in the heart of the historic district. It's incredibly easy to get around on foot to many of the top visitor sights and sites as well as some great restaurants across different price points. It's also excellent value and the staff are really great and incredibly helpful and pro-active."

"2 noce, i obie w różnych pokojach. Pierwsza noc w pokoju z widokiem na zatokę, druga z balkonami z widokiem na ulicę. Obiekt, stary, kolonialny z historią, ma swój niepowtarzalny urok ale też i wady z racji na swoją historię. W momencie arę czysty, bez robactwa, i z wspaniałym śniadaniem. Minusy są 2, w obu pokojach, klimatyzacja ledwo chłodziła, cały czas był przy tej temperaturze, zaduch w pokoju. Drugi minus, to osoba z rannej zł aby za biurkiem. Patrzył na wszystko jak policjant, podczas śniadania jego wzrok powodowal że nie wiedzieliśmy czy możemy jeść czy nie. Wydaje mi się że taka postawa może zniechęcić klientów, sami niejednokrotnie zastanawialiśmy się czy nie zmienić hotelu bo źle się czuliśmy w jego obecności. "

"Exceptional and kind owner and staff. They were good listeners, informative about area and safety, engaging, and caring. Americans and Europeans should learn more about cultural and living standards before going so as not to be shocked by room layouts and bathroom designs and bed placement as well as lack of face cloths. Also, lack of screened windows. Refrigeration prep and ice buildup are concerns. I was very pleased with the flexibility of owner and staff. They all showed concern and looked after my travel companion and me. I loved the location and access to a myriad of transportation, recreation, culture, cafes, shopping, entertainment, educational sources and resources. Overall, my stay was magnificent!
