"We arrived a little bit earlier than check-in time but we were allowed an early check-in… SCORE! This helped as we were a party of 3, one of us being a 2 year old. Very close to a variety of food options, and COFFEE to the left and right. The staff were incredible. We only dealt with two staff members, but we felt welcome and heard both times. The room was spacious and clean, two queen beds and a tv with plenty of entertainment to watch. Cold AC, clean bathrooms and towels, and plenty of parking around the building. Overall a great stay, for a great price too!"

"The room was actually quite clean and better than what I was expecting. They're not luxurious, but it was great, and the staff were friendly and very helpful too. The neighborhood was not the best (but it's central Merced, so it's not that bad relatively speaking) and it's close to the downtown shops and restaurants. This motel was convenient for me since I can walk to the Amtrak station for the bus to Yosemite National Park, and of course, the train."

"The hotel was nice, and the staff were very helpful. The heated pool was amazing after a long day of travel! I gave 4 stars because the in-room air conditioning unit was very loud, and without it, the room got hot and stuffy overnight. Sleep was difficult."

"The room was outdated,, old and stinky, old outdated bathroom with old loud fan in bathroom, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone"

"This was the noisiest room I've ever stayed in in my life (I'm 72). There were loud cars and Harley's driving by all night. Also the train kept going by all night. (with lot's of horn). The bathroom was so small there was no room to put any toiletries down. I don't know if it was just my room or if they're all like this. I wouldn't stay there again if THEY paid ME."
