"Clean rooms. Close to restaurants."

"Our room was uncomfortably warm. They explained that the hotel is old and they put either the air conditioner on or the heat on in the hotel and since it was going to be cool the next day they had turned the heat on to begin heating the hotel for the next day. They did give us a fan and opened the windows for us. It was difficult to sleep due to the warm temperature. Also our room did not lock from the outside. The door could be opened by simply pushing it open. It made us very nervous to leave our things in the room unattended. Someone did come to help us close and lock the door before we went to bed. The room was very spacious and had a beautiful view of the lake and grant park."

"The room was great. BUT we were charged with beverage purchases that we did not make. Luckily we asked for a receipt at checkout and saw the charge. Even though we later received refunds for the charge, I am not sure how the mistake happened. We were told that the front desk needs room number and last name to charge to our room. I am not sure if they keep the guest information safe."

"DO NOT STAY! Go to a hotel instead. First off they require a security deposit, which yes is stated in the review, but they fail to mention you need to use a cash transfer app to do this. The listing states that they do take credit/debit cards (Not for the security deposit I guess). I had to start a Venmo account to make this happen. Transferred $300 for the deposit through Venmo. More on this after review of the property. The room was ok, the slats on the bed supporting the mattress were half falling off so we had to fix that ourselves. The shared bathroom was ok but no stopper for the bath tub. Property was ok. Back to my deposit issue. As stated in the agreement, security deposit would be returned 5 to 7 business days after checkout. After 9 DAYS I reached out to the property to inquire about my deposit. They asked for my Venmo account so they could refund my deposit. They responded with "it will be refunded soon, latest tomorrow morning. Tomorrow comes, no refund. Shocker! Multiple text messages were sent about my refund and wouldn't you know it, not a single response. Now I have to contact Hotels.com. Multiple times! They kept telling me I need to contact the property. The property has officially ghosted me at this point. Thankfully Hotels.com got though to them and I got my deposit back 13 days after checkout. If you stay here be ready to work for your deposit back. Not sure about all these 10 out of 10 reviews? Did they get their deposit back automatically? I did not."

"Will continue to stay at his location with great staff and amenities. This particular was off with renovations going on in hotel. HVAC in room would not work properly and assumed it was with ongoing work."
