I wanted the experience of stepping off a ship into a new land, and that’s exactly what it felt like—in the best way. Breakfast was wonderful, shared with a true Scotsman and his incredible hospitality. (Pack light as there is no elevator as it was built in the 1800's)"

"Check in was efficient. Unit was very satisfactory. The interior of the foyer and dining area was well kept and clean. On the exterior, the steps leading up to the inn and our unit were in terrible condition and the steps and railing could possibly be a safety hazard. A repair and some paint would solve the problem. Other than that, the building was lovely. Service was excellent. "

"Loved the place. The room was clean. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice and helpful. There was a great restaurant at the premises and the staff was very nice; we got extra chowder and the beef curry and rice was super tasty. This is an excellent place if you are planning to visit the Hopewell Rocks National park which is just 3 h and 20 min away. We left the hotel at 7 am and arrived at the National park right on time to see low tide. Breakfast was free, but since we had to leave early in the morning, we requested a packaged cold breakfast. The staff was very accommodating and made us two breakfasts packs. Superb place and highly recommend it."
