"This place was amazing. From the time they met us prior to our camel ride till the 4x4 dropped us back off the next morning we couldn't have been treated better. The camp was beautiful. Even more impressive than the photos! and the staff was very professional and attended to our every need! I would highly recommend a stay with Horaz."

"The photos are simply untrue. The camp is in poor condition - broken chairs & lanterns; blankets thrown about; garbage strewn here & there. There is only one outlet in each tent and electricity was not always available. We had less than five minutes of hot water over 48 hours. Often one teenager was the only staff on site, and we had to communicate using Google translate, as the adults simply were not around. "The staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner.
