"We spent 4 nights at this lovely cottage. Such a beautiful location, you can sit on the porch and listen to the horse and buggies ride by. Stunning yard, covered front porch with a swing and back covered porch. The yard has a pergola, another swing and fire pit. Everything you need to relax and decompress from the madness. We love to ride or bikes on the Western Reserve bike path and the Maple Highland Trail. The location is only minutes from either path which is where we spent most of our morning and afternoons. The host and her cute little dogs made us feel at home. She was extremely receptive to any questions or concerns. I would love to live here! Friendly people horse and buggies everywhere. If you are techie and need to be connected the WiFi wasn’t dependable. We are checking our schedule for another opportunity to come back. "

"Our family used to go camping every Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend. But as we started having children camping became a little more difficult. So my family decided that we would look to rent a house to still be able to spend that time away together, but not have to have babies in pack n plays inside of a tent. We stumbled on this location & instantly fell in love with the fact that it was on a lake. It was far from camping, but still gave us some of those camping & relaxing vibes. Normally the pictures online make a house look better than it actually is in person. But in this case, the pictures for this listing don't even do it justice! The rooms are bigger and the layout is nicer than what you see. The game room downstairs was phenomenal & had something for everybody. There are 4 living room areas which sounds excessive & like something you wouldn't use or need, but it was perfect for having guests of all ages. The kids could watch a Disney movie on one TV, the guys could watch a sporting event on another TV & people could play boardrooms in another room. The other thing that was very nice, which sounds silly, is that the dining table was large & could fit all of the guests. We've rented houses before that have a lot of rooms but a small table where people cannot eat together. The host was very responsive & came out at 9:30pm the first night to fix an air conditioning problem that we had. The lake has tons of fish which the kids loved! We hope to come back!"

"Our family of five greatly enjoyed our stay in Chardon especially as this house is within walking distance to a number of nice restaurants. The front porch with rocking chairs, the children’s games, and the cozy reclining chairs were highlights for our children. The laundry room, nicely equipped kitchen, and cozy bedrooms were just right. Definitely recommend!"

"The cabin was just perfect. It was a perfect honeymoon experience. It was just into the woods (quiet; I dare say, sacred. we found ourselves whispering because it felt right. It was so peaceful). The community around it had everything we needed. It was a flawless experience. Perfect, perfect, prefect."

"Everything about this home worked extremely well for my family (6 adults). The three kids shared the room with the two beds, my mother-in-law had her own room, and my husband and I had our own room as well. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and cookware if you would like to prepare your meals at the house. The bonus of all of this though are the animals on the property. We enjoyed seeing all the ducks and chickens roaming about. I would have loved to stay longer or just have had the chance to wander around the property more, but our schedule didn’t allow. Molly was extremely responsive to emails, and she (and her family) have created a delightful home to rent. Thank you!"
