"The most important from this property is the staff. Mr. Mario was always on top of everything, he is very professional on his duty. Super educated person and very kindly with my kids. His son was super friendly when we arrived late night too and super generous to help with the bags. The last on recepción very kind too and helpful to find me a spot to park calling from her cellphone. The staff for breakfast Ms Sylvia very kind and professional on her job, super friendly and attentive. Mateo also aware of everything. Very pleasant our stay here feels like home. 🏠 "

"My stay at the Splendid Hotel in Taormina was absolutely wonderful. The location couldn’t be better - just a short walk to the town center and the cable car that takes you down to the sea. It’s the perfect base to explore everything Taormina has to offer. What truly stood out, though, was how warm and welcoming the atmosphere was from the moment I arrived. The hotel has a charming, relaxing vibe, and the staff made me feel completely at home. A special mention goes to Mohammed at the front desk, who was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help. Whether I needed directions, recommendations, or just a friendly conversation, Mohammed was consistently attentive and thoughtful. His hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a hotel with a great location and genuinely caring staff, the Splendid Hotel is a fantastic choice. I am already looking forward to my next visit!"

"I loved this property and will stay again! There was 4 of us and we stayed for 6 nights. The staff were amazing- kind attentive genuinely helpful. The room was quite clean beautiful and bright with a view overlooking the sea. The breakfast was basic but good and the dinner was delicious. We went out most days nights because we wanted to see the surrounding area. Location is great - you can easily walk to the cable car however if you’re from the states this may feel scare as they don’t have a side walk and cars go very fast. At one point the bus came past us and it felt like the scary instagram reels. You do get used to it and locals walk these narrow roads often. If you don’t feel like walking the staff will call you a cab and it was only $20 each way for 4 people which is actually less expensive then the cable cars. There is also a bus stop 20 feet from the entrance. Other great experiences were the beach and service at the beach. The beach is private and there is an attendant to help you with seating towels drinks and etc. right next door there is a place to borrow kayaks and paddle boards. The view was amazing and overall it was an incredible stay!!"

"We loved this hotel. It's in a beautiful location, and a short walk to the cable car which takes you into Taormina/Corso Umberto (shops, restaurants, exploring, people watching etc). The staff, concierge, service in all areas of the hotel and cleanliness was outstanding. Amazing breakfast selection, great restaurant and amusing entertainment in the evening. Nice pool area, and sun deck, although to get into the sea, you need 'swimming shoes' as the bottom is rocky. The gym could have been bigger, it's in a glass cube which gets the sun very early. It was over 30 degrees at 7.30am which made the workout harder that it should have been! Great view though! There's train line behind the hotel, which I hadn't seen mentioned in other reviews, although it didn't impact us, as it was relatively quiet. Overall we loved this hotel, would definitely recommend and hope to return in the future. "

"Reception staff were excellent. Friendly, helpful with great customer service skills. Hotel was very nice, clean and modern with a rooftop bar. Like many other hotels in Taormina the hotel is located on a hill. While I would certainly stay at the hotel again, parking unfortunately was a nightmare. There is a parkade adjacent to the hotel and unfortunately it was full. Had to shuttle to the hotel after I found a spot a significant distance away."

"This was the one of the best hotel stay’s that I have ever had. The concierge and front desk personnel were extremely kind and helpful. Also the location of the hotel was amazing, we were a 3 min walk from the cable car that goes into the city center. The hotel is right on the beach which is so convenient. I could go on and on about how wonderful our stay was!! "
