"this guy that runs the place.... he's kind of a dick head, but he picked up on that and kinda tried to make amends, I was gonna have a really late check in due to it being a 8 hour drive and unlike most locations he actually closes the lobby down after 12, i got there maybe 30 minutes late and slept in the parking lot in my truck, from the looks of the place it might be only operational during certain times of the year"

"We got scammed on this stay, having booked and paid for a double QUEEN room in advance, just to be denied this accommodation and forced into a double FULL room upon check-in. The desk clerk refused to honor my paid-for booking, saying that the room description provided online was "an example", and I was not entitled to the room listed in my booking, nor was he obligated to honor ANY booking made through this site. After quite a bit of back-and-forth over this issue, he eventually gave me $20 cash to accept this room that did not meet our needs, and was not what I was promised or what I paid for. With no other options last minute for a place to stay, we tried to make it work, but my husband and I could not both fit comfortably in the bed, and one of us had to share a bed with our pre-teen instead (still not a comfortable fit). In addition, the room was FILTHY... Cigarette burns on the tables and linens in a supposedly non-smoking room, the corners of the floors and tub absolutely BLACK with filth, a massive hairball blocking the tub from draining, and bugs everywhere (mostly beetles, but at least 3 roaches). Absolute nightmare of a stay, and I couldn't get out of there fast enough the next morning."

"This is a very nice rental. Everything was as described. The back deck is amazing to enjoy your morning coffee, relax in the hot tub, or the sauna. We caught a few fish in the river and the ponds that are on the property. The ramp up to the house is very convenient as well as the wagon for loading and unloading your vehicle. "
