We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at le Grand DoMeynes, it really is a gorgeous house, spacious enough for a big group. We had some lovely meals sitting around the huge dining room table. It’s very rustic which you must bear in mind if you require fully restored modern bathrooms.
We coped well without Air Con, the house had lots of fans although the first night was extremely hot!
Meynes is right on the voie vert between Beaucaire and Le Pont du Gard and we cycled between both- gorgeous countryside! There’s also a super place for wine tasting just out of the village.
Veronique Joelle and Vincent were extremely responsive and helpful- thanks so much for everything!

Our host provided anything we needed and cared about our enjoyment of her lovely home.
The house is large and well-provisioned. New furniture made the patio a favorite gathering spot. If you are looking for a comfortable, rustic getaway for a large group, this is surely your place.

Bien cordialement. Béatrice MH
We all loved our stay in this beautiful house, spending time swimming at Collias and Remoulins. Lots of comfortable places to read and relax around the beautifully appointed house. Situated in the middle of a village with bar, bakery etc, you need a car to get to local sites - Pont du Gare, and other swimming places. The lack of wifi was an issue for our teenage children (!) but we enjoyed it.
It was a pleasure to deal with Veronique - we missed our flight and she could not have been more accommodating, leaving out wine and home made jam to welcome us when we finally made it 12 hours late.
A special house. You will not be disappointed.
