Cozy!
We had everything our family needed for the weekend. Got to experience snowfall during our stay. It’s a quiet place and accommodating to nearby attractions. We enjoyed the warm fires and cozy cabin feel. Thank you!
Darlene was an absolutely awesome host! Great communication throughout the whole process. The cabin was perfect for our family of 6. Well stocked with eating and cooking utensils, bed and shower linens. The cabin is set far enough from the main highway that you can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. The wood burning fireplace kept the cabin toasty and added to the cozy atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

The property was exactly what we expected.
This was the first time my wife and son stayed in a cabin. They weee thrilled with the a frame build and the total look and feel of a cabin. The amenities were all there and we were close to Pinecrest Lake and OHV trails were five minutes away. We really enjoyed ourselves and will return! Thank you Darlene for everything you helped us with. You helped make this trip what it was! Thanks!

Cabin fell short of expectations. Some suggestions for the owner....
Our family just has some suggestions for the owner that might make the next guests’ stay more enjoyable:
1. New mattresses: the master bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable, as we’re the twin beds in the loft. We slept poorly every night despite being worn out from daily activities.
2. Replace blankets and quilts. Very old bedding. The sheets were fine and packed up nicely in labeled bags; the blankets and master bedroom quilt looked like they were bought in 1980 and so we felt uneasy about cleanliness especially with COVID.
3. Replace rotting deck boards. The outdoor table is positioned to cover a noticeably rotten patch that looked about to give way of you walked on it.
4. We bought a broom for the cabin as the one in the kitchen closet - an old wood-handled straw type- was completely worn out down the the nub. Impossible to actually sweep.
5. Strong odor: The cabin smells strongly of marijuana plants. Every time we walked in the front door there was the unmistakable odor of pot.
Beautiful location and a cozy cabin. Darlene was so responsive!

Very clean rustic cabin. A little dark inside, had to use fans due to hest. No sir cobditioning. Downstairs bed very old and they had added pink foam under mattress plastic protector! Bed sheets that were laid out were not queen size. So I re-labeled them an found correct size in closet. Deck was nice to relax on. Overall, a very clean rustic cabin.
Perfect cabin for a weekend getaway! Other than the neighbors blasting music ( also renting?) - It was great! Property Manager Darlene was wonderful & answered all of our questions before the visit.
We loved the cabin very much, but wanted to note that it was quite difficult to arrive and find no toilet paper, there was no kitchen roll and we couldn’t find anything for drying dishes ie tea towels also no trash bags. These seem quite basic items that we have always had in other rentals.

Was almost perfect.
Cozy cabin, that's clean and surprisingly roomy. Little vague on location, address is 20823 Hiki Place, Mi-Wuk Village (first cabin on right after turning onto Hiki Place). Quiet and peaceful neighborhood, the beds are firm and comfortable. Shower is very strong, massages the back, but hard on the face. Couldn't figure out how to lower the strength. Has wifi with password, games, puzzles, books, DVDs, among other amenities. Kitchen stocked with most things needed for simple cooking on an electric stove. Roomy dinning table, and extra seats by kitchen counter. Living room next to dinning area and fireplace gives open feel with ease for conversation while cooking, eating, hanging out or watching TV. Three kids liked it so much, they wanted to stay at the cabin rather than go skiing. Extra two plug-in heaters were nice, especially for the bathroom and lower bedroom at night. Well stocked with wood that warms up the cabin nicely once the fire is going, but is ice cold initially. Need to feed the fire at night, and put water above the fireplace, but that's common with cabins. Like website states, zero condiments, TP, soap, trash bags, etc. Taking out trash/ashes were easy as bins are by the front door. Wifi/cable TV was not working second day (probably snowy weather, which is not the owners fault). Main problem was too much snow shoveling (the stairs from the parking spaces, to open the wood shed to get wood, and the parking space itself). Got a good workout, and stayed warm while shoveling each day it snowed. Had to put on chains even with 4x4 just to park when we got there, and shoveled the parking space the next day after skiing since much of the road snow was pushed onto the parking space. Neighbor said it was the most snow he's seen in 25 years, as his dog took care of business on the parking space. Plenty of sleeping space for 8, but only one bathroom. Was fine for our group of five, as four can shower in a row before hot water runs out. Would stay here in a heart beat in the summer, but not in a snow storm. Darlene is easy to work with as well. Thanks.

Clean. Good location to pinecrest. Quiet neighborhood
We went here to be near Pinecrest lake and to be within 3 hours of the bay area. A very comfortable cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Cabin was very functional. There were only two of us so we didn't use the upstairs bedroom loft. There is one queen bedroom on the main floor near the main part of the house including the living room, kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs are the other sleeping areas. There is a nice deck with a BBQ and comfortable chairs and table for outdoor dining. A nice living area with a tv and VHS/DVD.. we went to Twain Harte market and rented movies from red box. About 10 minutes. Very close to the cabin aS well is are a few restaurants and a pizza parlor. Be sure to try the sugar shack bakery. All in all a nice place. A flat drive up parking place with stairs down to the front door. Checkin was super easy with the key on the lock box.

Perfect Cozy Cabin
My family and I absolutely loved the cabin and found it so enjoyable to be in. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans, etc., and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. Making a fire was easy and warmed the whole place efficiently. We loved the simple "cabiny" decor, and all the nice black and white framed Yosemite pictures. We wish we had more time to stay and just relax in the house itself. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much!
