Terrace Inn and 1911 Restaurant

Terrace Inn and 1911 Restaurant

8/10 Good
"The Inn is a historic site and was built in 1911 one year before the titanic sank, so there is no elevator for the second or third floors. (Beware if you are elderly or handicapped) Every room is somewhat different so it’s hard to evaluate the other rooms but ours was a corner room with lots of windows and nicely decorated with an electric fireplace. The 1911 restaurant was closed Sunday and Monday so we only ate there once. They didn’t seem to have a breakfast anymore and the restaurant was a little overpriced. There was a nice front and back porch to sit on and meet other travelers. Good place to try if you like historical old buildings."

very private, adorable rustic cabin -out house , full shower house off barn

very private, adorable rustic cabin -out house , full shower house off barn

10/10 Excellent
"Really cute single cabin. I didn’t realize there was no electricity when I booked. We adjusted fine. Cabin was nicely decorated w a wood burning stove , table w 4 chairs, 2 twin beds pushed together and a desk. There was another shelter that house the propane kitchen stove. The outhouse was real yet had a clean wooden toilet seat. The site was surrounded by trees, a river, fire pit , picnic table and enough space that you could set up a 6 person tent. More comfortable than tent sleeping for car camping. Oil lamps and a few battery candles were provided. Opted for our battery lanterns child and dog safe."
