Room was small but quaint, breakfast was excellent, general staff helpful. HOWEVER, despite several calls and emails, room was not ready for us with extra aerobed. After hours housekeeping saved the day. We could easily forgive this.
But unforgivable were the multiple and repetitive charges made to our credit card for hundreds of dollars because the owner, Tracey, could not figure out the invoicing system. She insisted that the charges were not really being made despite being told repeatedly that AMEX was alerting us. She was so incompetent, she could not understand what was happening. We had to cancel our credit card and report the Waybury Inn for fraud because she had charged us thousands by this time. Each invoice was crazier than the last, going up to $6000 for a two night stay. No one in management communicated with each other, which was the reason the mistakes started initially. Would never stay here again. Advice all to avoid so you don’t ruin your vacation.
