Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay - All Inclusive

"The place was very clean and welcoming ( except for one bell man). The service was great. Despite a few issues with the room ( only one there pronged outlet), the room was relatively well-appointed. I will not stay here again though. The main reason is the food was TERRIBLE! It was such a shame. This is probably the only stay where I actually lost weight because eating was not pleasurable at all. The hotel would not bill itself as a 5 star. That is very inaccurate."

"I had a pleasant stay overall. The personnel were genuinely helpful and accommodating throughout my visit, which made the experience comfortable. My only complaints are that the entertainment wasn’t Jamaican—it was mostly American music, which took away from the local vibe I was hoping for. Also, the private nudist island was only open one day during my week‑long stay, which was disappointing since it was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel."

"We stayed one night while visiting Mandeville and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and felt very secure, which was important to us. Although our stay was short, everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. We had dinner at the hotel and really enjoyed it. I had the Caesar salad, my husband had the jerk chicken, and we both enjoyed cocktails. The food and service were excellent, and we had no complaints. Breakfast was geared toward local cuisine, and the staff kindly made an exception for us, which we appreciated. We also noticed the hotel has a fitness center and other amenities that we didn’t have time to use during our overnight stay. Overall, the staff was welcoming, the property was well maintained, and we would definitely stay here again when visiting Mandeville."
