Discover historic charm in the heart of Midland in this beautifully restored 1920s property that blends timeless character with modern comfort. The main home is 1800 sq ft and the guest house is 360 sq ft, giving your group separate spaces that still feel connected.

Both the main house and guesthouse sit on a spacious lot with large fenced yards and patios, offering multiple outdoor areas to relax, play, and gather. Perfect for longer weekly stays, this property is loaded with indoor and outdoor amenities and offers two large king bedrooms, each with its own work desk. It is a great fit for traveling professionals, couples sharing a place, or families who need space to work and play between outings.

    Who It’s Great For:
    • Traveling professionals and work crews who want desks, Wi‑Fi, and separate sleep spaces close to central Midland
    • Families or two-couple groups who want a main house plus a private guesthouse for extra privacy

Main House – Layout & Style
The main home keeps its old-home character with a semi-open concept that connects the living and dining areas to the kitchen. Everyone can cook, eat, and relax together while each space keeps its own cozy identity. A nostalgic pass-through window acts like a practical island between the kitchen and living area, perfect for serving meals, setting out snacks, or chatting while you cook.

Built-in bookshelves add warmth and personality, styled with decor, books, and games so you always have something to enjoy during downtime. It feels like a true historic Midland home, updated for today’s comfort.

    Kitchen:
    • Fully Stocked Kitchen: Includes all essentials for home cooking.
    • Coffee station with multiple coffee makers so everyone can start the day their way.
    • Cooking essentials including pots, pans, utensils, and more for simple breakfasts or full group dinners.

    Main House Bedrooms:
    • A sequestered king master suite (Helix hybrid mattress) with a walk-in closet gives you a quiet retreat after a long day. The flowing bedroom-to-bath layout feels like a private spa-style space, just note there is no door between the bedroom and bathroom.
    • A second king bedroom (Purple3 hybrid mattress) filled with natural light from oversized windows, plus a work desk perfect for remote work or project planning.
    • A third bedroom with two twin beds creates a flexible space for kids, friends, or crew members.

All bedrooms feature blackout curtains to make it easy to sleep in after a late shift or stay focused when working.

    The Guest House
The studio guesthouse adds even more flexibility with its own private yard, kitchenette, and bath. It is ideal for extra team members, in-laws, or anyone who wants a bit more privacy.

Inside, you will find a plush queen bed with a Casper mattress, a Smart TV, and a compact kitchenette with a Ninja Foodi XL Pro Oven, induction stove, and Keurig, perfect for simple meals and late-night snacks. A ductless AC/heat split keeps the space comfortable year-round. Outside, a propane fire pit and access to a secure storage building make it convenient for storing equipment, bikes, or gear between jobs or adventures.

Note: In the guest house only, the bathtub/shower has a pipe that causes the water to run orange or rust-colored for the first few seconds, then it runs clear. This is the only faucet with this issue.

    Outdoor Spaces
Step outside to relax in the cowboy pool, kept clean and pump-filtered, ready for lounging, dipping, or watching a West Texas sunset. Rinse off in the outdoor shower, then choose from three grills (propane and charcoal) to cook out and gather at the picnic table for dinner under the bistro lights.

Enjoy the green artificial grass, string lights, and several Adirondack chairs throughout the yards. With two separate fenced yards, there is plenty of space for kids to play, adults to unwind, and everyone to enjoy the open air without feeling crowded.

    Other Amenities:
    • In-Unit laundry room with full-sized washing machine and dryer and "free & clear" (allergy friendly) laundry detergent
    • Free High-Speed Wi-Fi

    History
Built in the 1920s, this home is among the rare surviving residences from Midland’s early oil boom era. While only a handful of homes from before 1930 remain today, this one still stands proudly, offering a glimpse into the charm and craftsmanship of nearly a century ago. From its vintage architectural details to its location in the heart of Midland’s historic district, it is more than a place to stay, it is a living piece of the city’s story.

We are honored to host you and your guests in this welcoming home away from home right here in the Permian Basin. If you have any questions about your stay, we are happy to help, just send us a message.
