Peaceful Creekside Cottage - quiet, clean and lots of amenities!

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Inside a gated community, right next to a peaceful creek, this 1-bedroom/1 bath has everything you need for a long-term stay or a quick night getaway. A full kitchen, pullout couch, digital fireplace and laundry facilities make our Creekside Cottage a perfect getaway. This private guesthouse is ready for you! We take pride in making you feel like home away from home. Separate entrance with shared driveway parking so you can come and go as you please with extensive cleaning protocols.

We are proud of our updated getaway space. Perfect for those looking for some tranquility with easy access to the DFW Metroplex, wedding and sports venues. Easy access to multiple interstates.

What we don’t have is great cell coverage depending on your carrier. You may experience spotty service in our neighborhood and throughout Midlothian. There is WiFi access with Firesticks on all TVs for movie channels with limited streaming.

We live on-site with our family and dogs so you may see us in our daily routines which means we are as friendly as you want us to be! We are here for you and hope you enjoy our space as much as we do. If there is anything we can do to make your stay special or more enjoyable please tell us!

Quiet, cozy and clean place. Close to downtown Midlothian where we were able to enjoy a nice Valentine’s dinner at The Porch Pour on Founder’s Row. Host was very responsive. The cottage had everything we needed for our short stay. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Very clean. Great furnishings and amenities (loved the inspirational quotes!). Safe and quiet neighborhood (gated community). Easy parking. Friendly and polite dogs. Aldi and Kroger close by if needed. It's clear the host really makes every attempt to make sure guests have a good stay.

Peaceful getaway

We enjoyed our stay in this guest house on the owner's property. We wanted a restful retreat just outside of the city. It was a short drive from restaurants, and it also had a full kitchen. (Since the owner lived on the property, you could also ask for any kitchen items you needed if they were not available.) It was in a gated neighborhood full of trees, with decent sized back yards. Check-in and check-out were simple, and communication was great. Would stay here again!

Our stay though short, was wonderful. Jill and her family were awesome hosts. Everything we needed was available, and everything we didn't even know we needed was already provided. She even had the couch made out for us as a bed because she knew that we would be coming in late. The home is exactly as pictured. The accommodations were first class. The check in and out process was easy. She checked on us prior to our stay, during our stay and after we left. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for everything Jill!

Cute and quaint

My son and I stayed here for a few nights while traveling to the area - first of all Midlothian and this neighborhood are both beautiful. This property is cute and was good enough for what we needed. It was a little strange how the bathroom is accessible through the bedroom so anyone sleeping on the sofa bed has to come through but we worked out a system. The inside was clean and well stocked. They did a great job and I would stay there again. We never saw the dogs.

Wonderful Weekend Stay!

My daughter and I stayed in the Cottage over the weekend while in town for a softball tournament. What a hidden treasure! From the start, communication with the hosts was excellent and meeting Jill and Brian during the stay was great, both such nice inviting people. I felt safe with my daughter at the Cottage which was important to me, as well as having a safe convenient place to park my car, and they have an extended driveway to do so. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. The Cottage was clean, very well-stocked, in fact more so than any I have been too, every attention to detail was thought of and it was so nicely decorated with little extras that I like in my own home like room spray, laundry items and extra toiletries you may need. The furniture was very comfortable and the bed and bath linens were great quality. The kitchen has everything you need to cook if you desire and they provided alot of extras in the kitchen as well. We loved our time at the Cottage and look forward to the next time we are in the area to visit again.
