Forested Acres, Tranquil Setting, Hot Tub, Close to Yosemite

Additional optional bungalow for large groups or just a separate space coming late fall 2023! The main house is Yosemite’s favorite base camp and meets the needs of almost all travelers. Just 22 miles from the Arch Rock Entrance to Yosemite National Park, on the only all season highway into the park. Enjoy the privacy and explore our six acres, including a seasonal creek, hammocks, hot tub and fire pit. Pet owners, kindly read listing before booking.

This place is very private and very special. The Master bedroom has queen sized bed, a loveseat, and comes stocked with high thread count sheets. The attached bathroom has granite countertops, a 'tall-person' shower and thick fluffy towels.
The Guest bedroom also has a queen sized bed and a nice view of the night sky and surrounding mountains.
The livingroom has a comfy couch for relaxing, and a separate futon style bed.
There is a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops, completely stocked with modern cooking and baking tools.
The spacious, open living & dining room has plenty of seating, a 42' Flat Screen TV, and a wood-burning stove.
The Hot Tub is surrounded by a large wrap-around redwood deck. The back Patio has a 6 person dining table, a Gas BBQ, a Fire bowl and plenty of additional seating.

A short drive through the gorgeous Merced River canyon brings you to Yosemite National Park. Ample free parking on site. Back yard patio has hammocks in the summer, fire pit in the winter - the perfect place to gaze at the stars. The House and Bungalow are tastefully decorated with National Park themed photographs and paintings, many by local artists. Everything about the Midpines House and Bungalow are new and fresh.

Awesome vacation!
This house was so perfect for my group of 4 people. We stayed in this house so we could go to Yosemite. It was about a 35-40 minute drive from the entrance to the park. The place was pretty remote which was nice for watching the stars. We enjoyed the hot tub the most!

Great house/cabin close to Yosemite
I would recommend this rental. It was very comfortable for our stay (2 adults). Lovely grounds, nicely appointed and appreciated the hot tub after a day of exploring the park. It is about an 8 minute drive to Mariposa with many restaurants and stores. The drive to Yosemite entrance was a beautiful 35-40 minute drive. There would be plenty of room in this rental for 2 couples or a couple with children. Kitchen had all the basics covered!

Nice stay
The cabin was perfect for our 3 night stay to visit Yosemite. It was nice to come home from a day of hiking and relax in the hot tub. It was centrally located to the Valley and Mariposa Grove. Thanks to the owners!

Great base to explore Yosemite
Our main purpose was to explore Yosemite, and it took us 30-45 minutes to drive to the entrance of the park. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. There's a good grocery store about 10 minutes away. The only problem we had was the heater in the den area was a little strange and would sometimes blow cool air. I would stay there again if I made another trip to Yosemite.

Country House Near Yosemite
We spent 4 nights in this delightful house in a tranquil setting. If you are looking for peace & quiet near Yosemite National Park, this is it. The house is roomy with 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and a large dining/living room. It has a well stocked kitchen and we cooked every night. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to everyone. Great communication and responsiveness
We appreciated that we could drop off our groceries before the check in time so that we could head to Yosemite! The home was very nicely decorated and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, too. We enjoyed watching some of the DVD's and loved the welcome snacks. The notebook was also helpful. Our host was very responsive. Thank you!

Super location
Very convenient to Yosemite - about as close as you can get to the main entrance without staying in the park or a hotel. The place has everything - hot tub to grill. The layout is open and flexible. Book this place!

Wonderful Property
My family had a great time here. The house was clean, updated, and comfortable. It is located about as near to Yosemite as you can get without staying inside the park. This made for several great days exploring the park as a family. The hot tub was a great way to relax after long days of hiking. We also loved watching the wild turkeys and their babies running around the yard in the morning. Would highly recommend this place!

WONDERFUL stay. This house has everything you need. We stayed here for the proximity to Yosemite and ended up staying at the house one day instead so we could enjoy it. It is a destination in itself and we can't wait to return.
