Absolute fantastic location chilled and scenery out of this world! Our host Steve was brilliant any issues we had got sorted immediately! The property itself is amazing. Would recommend to anyone to f they are considering staying at this property

Golf break
We used this property as a base for a golfing trip. We used the fully equipped kitchen and soaped up the atmosphere of the rural surroundings. The only criticism was due to the solar water heating, however when we realized that the optimum time to shower was late afternoon all was fine.

Perfect for 2 in excellent quiet location.
Lovely villa with lots of outside spaces to sit. Very clean and had everything we wanted. Steve was a great communicator and there when we needed him. Very nicely furnished with tasteful decor. Big enough for 8 people easily and about 15 min drive down to Cala de Mijas where loads of great restaurants and bars. Would stay again.

Lovely spot
Lovely spot with great views and very friendly host who was around if anything was needed. Very comfy, spacious house away from the madding crowd. Secure and very safe. Definitely somewhere to get away from it all. Will keep in mind if we visit the area again.

A great week in Mijas
We had a great week staying at Steve’s property. It’s very hard to find and the Google link doesn’t work (Steve had to come and collect us!) but once we were in, everything was great. A lovely property which was the perfect size for 6 adults and 2 kids. Would recommend!

Really nice villa in Entrerrios Mijas Costa
We have just enjoyed a 2 week holiday at this villa. Visited some really lovely places like Mijas Peublo, Ronda ( highly recommend but a couple of hours drive), Malaga old town and Porto Banus. Due to the extreme dry period we couldn’t use the BBQ due to high fire risk and similarly the pool couldn’t keep filtering so was difficult to keep clean due to dust from intermittent wind - neither spoilt our holiday and our host was very accommodating trying to keep the pool nice for our stay. The weather has been very hot so having air conditioning was a must - please be aware it works using motion sensors so you need to be in the rooms moving about for it to work for longer than about half an hour - minor frustration because it got to over 40 degrees on some days and would have been good to able to have manual control. Overall a lovely property. Would say a car is essential as it is in a lovely quiet location. Great and multiple outdoor areas to sit - good covers for shade etc. Thank you

The A/c will only switch off after about half an hour if there is nobody in the room this is to stop guests leaving them on when there is nobody in the property once again thank you for your 5star review and I hope to see you again

Beautiful Family Getaway
Beautiful property in stunning location, lots of space for up to 8 people with lots of different areas so you never feel crowded Definitely more of a summer house, we stayed here over christmas and it was difficult to heat the common areas of the house with wood burning stoves - the bedrooms have AC that doubles as heating (unfortunately Steve only gave us remotes on the second day which meant a cold first night) House could be a bit cleaner - e.g. the master bedroom smelled like dog (we removed the carpets which helped) and the kitchen could be better equipped (e.g. not a single well cutting knife, etc.) All in all a brilliant stay though and we enjoyed ourselves very much and would come back to the area and this property

Thank you for your 4-star review. As you said it is more of a summer house. as properties in Spain are built to keep the heat out and this property is so large it is a problem in the winter trying to keep it warm. I will make sure a sharp knife is supplied, Regarding the Dog smell I am guilty as my dog sleeps in the bedroom. I would not normally leave the carpets down I thought it would be more comfortable to have them rather than the bare tiles. Once again thank you for your 4-star review and hope to see you back maybe in the summer

Really nice Finca, exactly as described! Owner is brilliant to deal with
The property is very spacious both inside and out, with lots of different areas for families and friends to have communal activities as well as space away from each other if needed! Bedrooms are all a good size with comfy beds and furnishings, and importantly have aircon that makes the heat of August in Spain liveable. The living areas were good - lounge had a couple of large sofas which were older but comfy, plus a large tv with netflix/freeview for when you want downtime. The dining area had a large table to seat 8/10 easily, and the kitchen was very large with all of the white goods you'd expect including 2 large fridges for the essential drinks! Tap water is safe to drink as you would in the UK. Outside was the best bit of the finca for our family - the terrace outside the kitchen was our home for the 2 weeks we stayed at the property. Great views, plenty of furniture, a gas bbq, an outside covered dining area and overall feeling of space made for a lovely experience. The pool was safe and clean - not too deep (4 ft maybe) and had plenty of seating and plants/trees to make it feel both private and attractive to look at. You're not overlooked at all in any area of the villa so you can wander around in any state of undress should you choose! The property is about 15mins drive from shops in La Cala de Mijas where there are Lidl/Aldi and local supermarkets with plenty of excellent choices in food/drink. Fuengirola, Benalmedena, Marbella and Malaga are all within about 30mins drive and are bigger towns with more choice in shopping and food. The property is in a lovely group of 5 or 6 houses and it's quiet, so there are no noisy neighbours/tourists or deliveries to worry about. Also, it's in an area of fantastic beauty surrounded by mountains and valleys, and as it's relatively remote with no street lights and dark skies, the stars at night are something special. Top tips - The Bioparc in Fuengirola was a good 1/2 day visit for all ages, Aquavelis water park was brilliant and much quieter than Aquamijas, dolphin spotting from Benamedena was brilliant and worth every penny. Get a map and a correct phone number from the owner, the directions are a little vague and it's a bit further on than you think! Overall, it was a great property with a fantastic owner in a lovely area of Spain. Would recommend and will probably be back!

Great stay at Finca dos Santos
Fabulous spacious property with so many outdoor and indoor sitting areas around it. In a lovely garden setting with great views. Lots of kitchen appliances - most of which we didn't use! Not far from Mijas and exceptionally convenient for golfers playing at La Cala Golf. Steve was very helpful and gave us clear directions for our arrival. He even got in breakfast items for us due to our late arrival. Gated entrance with plenty parking.

Lovely house, stunning views
My family and I stayed at the finca for the second year running in September 2018 and it did not disappoint again. The finca is lovely, lots of indoor and outdoor space with a variety of seating areas. The pool area has sun for the majority of the day and the pool is perfect for children, still lovely and warm in late September. Outdoor dining area easily seats 8 and there is a great gas bbq too. Great rental house that I would highly recommend.

Expansive property in a secluded area
Very spacious and full of character. Steve would do pretty much anything for you and is a good source of information and is not far away. It was let down a little by the services (electrical, plumbing and fittings) however if I could give 4.5 stars I would. You will need a car to get around. Would we go back! absolutely.

Thank you for your comments. I am not sure what you mean about the electrics and plumbing fittings as I check the villa before every arrival to make sure everything is in order. It would be helpful if guests mentioned when they are staying any problems they have .Thank you for a 4 star rating

Simply stunning
We have just spent 12 wonderful days at the finca. 4 adults and 4 children. The finca is extremely spacious and there was plenty of room for all of us without us getting under each other's feet. Each of the bedrooms were extremely large each boasting their own en suites. The pool was amazing we had a hard job keeping the kids out of it. It's secluded enough for peaceful relaxing days by the pool, the outdoor BBQ meant we didn't need to eat out every night however the town of Cale de mijas was a ten minute car ride away with beaches bars and restaraunts plus shops like aldi supersol and kids. Steve was an amazing host very knowledgeable about the area and he wasn't far away if we needed anything. A superb place for a relaxing stay. Thanks again Steve for your wonderful hospitality...we had the best time The Wiles Family and the Thirkill Family x

Steve is a top bloke,great place to stay. Taxis need to be booked earlier than you need because they run on Spanish time😃 La Cala is not far away, beach front plenty of bars restaurants etc, lots of looky looky men selling stuff, had fantastic time

Excellent trip in a perfect villa! The location and scenery are unbeatable! Highly recommend!
As a family of seven the villa was perfect! We arrived late in the evening and Steve was kind enough to meet us to help us locate the villa and welcome us to the property. The next morning he brought us fresh local food to start of our holiday and explained the distance of local towns and locations worth visiting. Steve was on hand if we needed him but gave us the privacy to enjoy our holiday as a family. The villa itself is beautiful, each room is spacious and airy with plenty of light and has an ensuite with fresh towels. The kitchen is great! Large enough for a family to gather in and has all the emenities you will need to cook meals together. The living room is great, high ceilings, fantastically decorated and comes with a smart TV, massage chair and huge sofas to seat plenty of people. The outdoor area’s are perfect for catching the sun at any time of the day! And the property is very private, allowing you to enjoy your holiday in peace. You will need to rent a car as the villa is around 15 minutes from the local town ‘la Cala de Mijas’, in the town you will find everything you need from local shops, supermarkets, resteraunt, bars and a beautiful beach. Steve was an excellent host and I would highly recommend renting his villa, our one regret was that we didn’t stay longer! I would definitely go back to this property, it’s perfect for family’s or groups who are looking for a peaceful and relaxing time away.

Amazing!
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. It was even better than we expected, the decorating and all the details in the house, the big kitchen and beautiful yard and the surroundings were just perfect. It was very private but Stephen was close by if we needed anything. The area is nice and we went horseback riding to a stable thats within a walking distance. Truly an unique place!

Beautiful property in a gorgeous location
We were a family group of 9 including 2 young children and we had a fabulous time at the finca. The photographs really don't do the property justice - the finca is very large and beautifully presented. The outdoor space is stunning and really does have everything you require for a relaxing holiday. There are lots of outdoor sitting areas situated around the finca including a large table that comfortably seats 8. The swimming pool was lovely and warm when we visited in mid September and is ideal for children as it does not have a deep end. The day bed under the shade is a great chill out space for 2. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a large fridge and freezer providing more than enough cold storage. All bedrooms were a nice size and all en suite with plenty of storage space. Steve was a great host and provided provisions for us when we first arrived as it was late at night to ensure we had breakfast for the children. He also provided local knowledge and ensured we were ok when we had a family medical emergency.

FANTASTIC VILLA.......Just returned from a two week stay in this amazing property...
Stayed in this amazing property mid August and from the moment we arrived at the entrance we knew we'd chosen the perfect place.....superb villa with beautiful surroundings,plenty of outdoor space to relax and entertain.Inside was huge compared to other villas we have stayed in with four double bedrooms all equipped with ensuite bathrooms,large open plan kitchen which led out to the terrace which at night was amazing all lit up.....Lounge area was again enormous and a welcome retreat from the sun if needed..The owner Stephen was a top guy who was always on hand if needed(even dropping off in La Cala to pick our car up....) The villa is up in the hills so a hire is needed but you could easily spend your days lounging round the pool and relaxing. All in all would definitely recommend Finca Dos Santos and hope to return in the future...

Fab Fun In The Sun....
Just returned from an amazing 10 days at Finca Dos Santos. Steve was great ,very friendly (as expected from a fellow northerner!...lol ) and gave great recommendations with local restaurants and places to visit. The villa is huge and beautifully decorated with a great sized pool , bbq with outdoor dining area- which we used lots and plenty of other chill out areas. Netflix kept the kids entertained when too hot outside. It's just under 15mins drive into La Cala where there are supermarkets, plenty of great restaurants , beach, kids play areas and evening market stalls. Mijas Pueblo is a beautiful white washed village and is well worth a day out ... lots of restaurants, shops, a chocolate shop with chocolate workshops/ice-cream/ hand made choc to buy. We took a tuk tuk ride around village but can also take donkey or horse and cart rides. Weather was gorgeous....soooo hot. You can get taxis into La Cala for about 14euros but you may have to wait a while so would advise booking a day in advance if during busy season. All in all we had a fab time and wish we were still there.

Super time had by all of us
The villa location is miles from nearest town so a car is essential but that was why we chose it. There is everything you will need at the villa excellently kitted out. Bedrooms have plenty of space, the hole villa & grounds have plenty of space. The pool area bathes in sunshine during the day but shade is there if required. Overall my family had an absolute super holiday & would not hesitate to book again. Stephen was always available if required but for us not needed. If you wanted to know anything about the area then Stephen was the person to ask.

Fantastic finca with stunning views
We had a fantastic holiday at Stephens's delightful villa. Set in and amongst beautiful gardens we just could not help but relax. Being able to walk up into the mountains most mornings was a treat before breakfast. The villa is spacious and attractively furnished throughout. The icing on the cake was wall to wall blue sky and warmth for the whole week we were there.

Belles vacances en famille
Très belle et grande propriété. La maison est magnifiquement décorée. Chaque chambre a sa salle de bains. Goede vakantie gehad maar er zijn wat verbeterpunten
Wij zijn twee weken verbleven en hebben een prima vakantie gehad. De foto’s komen niet meer helemaal overeen maar grotendeels wel. Er staan plastic ligbedden bij het zwembad en er is geen droger zoals wel in de advertentie staat. Ook mag er in het hoogseizoen niet worden gebarbecued wat wij wel graag vooraf hadden willen weten. Het huis was bij onze aankomst niet heel schoon. Er was wel wat zichtwerk gedaan maar niet echt gepoetst. Ook was de waterkwaliteit niet goed. Na een keer zwemmen groen haar ( natuurlijk blond dat verkleurde) de eigenaar zette naar onze mening de pomp veel te weinig aan. Twee of drie keer per weer een uurtje. Toen wij hem zelf lieten draaien werd ons verzocht dat niet te doen. De eigenaar regelt alles zelf en komt dan ook regelmatig gewoon aanwandelen, hij woont zelf tegenover het huis. Wij zijn gewend dat dit of afgesproken wordt op bepaalde tijden of dat men zich even aankondigd. Er is in iedere slaapkamer een airco aanwezig, deze zijn echter voorzien van een bewegingssensor en kun je dus op 1 kamer na niet lekker laten draaien omdat ze vanzelf uitspringen. Al met al hebben we een prima vakantie gehad maar er zijn wel verbeterpunten wat ons betreft. Houd er ook rekening mee dat je minimaal een kwartier nodig hebt om de berg af te rijden voordat je ergens kunt komen.

I have read your review with great interest and find it factually incorrect. . I do not advertise a clothes dryer. The A/c has sensors that only switch the machines of when no movement is detected after 1/2 an hour . It is law in Spain that BBQs are forbidden due to very high fire risk in the summertime. Regarding sunbeds Due to covid rules, we were advised not to have any soft materials outside such as mattresses "s. I try to only go to the property when the guests are not there to clean and to water the gardens sometimes this is not possible. These guests did not follow the rules regarding the pool I asked them not to use high-factor sun creams they did and subsequently, the pool water became discoloured and the filters became clogged. finally I will say I have never had guests quite like these and they would certainly not be welcomed back to my home

Very beautiful house.
We've rented the house with 3 families. It's a big house with a lot of privacy and several places and corners outside to sit. We really loved the interior and its beautiful decoration.

Best place to be…
…if you love the countryside, a beautiful house with everything you need and the best landlord you’ll find! 🙃 The house is like the pictures. The place is very calm (some dogs, chicken and turkeys), but only 15 minutes to the beach and shops, 5 minutes to the next golf course. Steve is very welcoming and helpful! And has a very sweet dog who befriended mine. Thanks for the lovely walks☺️ I shouldn’t recommend this place, so it will be free when I come back 🙈🙈 See you next spring 😃

Excellente propriété
Un peu isolé mais suffisant pour avoir son intimité. Propriétaire très aimable et aux petits soins. La propriété est très grande et suffisante pour 4 familles. Toutes les commodités sont de très bonne qualité. La piscine est magnifique et sans vis à vis. Au village à moins de 15min, il y a des supermarchés Lidl/Aldi, des restaurants et le front de mer. Séjour de 10 jours idéal. Quelques petites améliorations : - Le salon n'est pas climatisé vu sa taille. mais il aurait quand même fallu une climatisation. Pas pour du confort mais ne serait-ce que pour diminuer les températures infernales du mois de juillet. - il y avait parfois des guêpes qui s'invitaient dans la piscine pour se rafraîchir. Assez gênantes mais le propriétaire est à l'écoute et trouvait des solutions.

Thank you for your 4star review. unfortunately, the temperature here as in most of the Med countries has been very high this summer these temperatures are not normal for the time of year you and your family were here . After trial and error, I have now found a solution to the Wasps. Regarding the lounge again the heat is not normal as Due to the size of the lounge dining area plus double-height ceillings it is normally cool. Hopefully, you will decide to holiday with us again and thank you for choosing my property.

Die Finca ist schön und großzügig gestaltet. Die Lage ist ruhig aber dennoch zentral. Strände, Supermärkte, Restaurants ,etc. sind mit dem PKW schnell zu erreichen. Schön wäre es, wenn die Fenster zum Lüften geöffnet werden könnten, aus Sicherheitsgründen ist dieses aber laut Vermieter nicht gewünscht. Daher sind die Fenster teilweise verschlossen. Ferner ist die Matratze des Master-Bedroom sehr weich bzw. durchgelegen, hier wäre ein Austausch sicher sinnvoll. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Heerlijk huis in landelijk gebied. Mooi uitzicht. Het huis heeft verschillende hoekjes waar je kunt zitten.

It was a perfect stay!
Beautifull house, very big, Steve (the owner) is a very nice man! When we had a problem he came directly and solved it. It was a very nice holiday, could not be better. When we arrived, the house was very clean, the rooms are big, bigger, biggest 😊 We would like to come back to this little piece of paradise!

Stor, velfungerende og god beliggenhed
God modtagelse. Alt er rent og i orden. Vi var en stor familie der gerne ville have eget værelse med toilet. Fællesarealerne er undelige hvis man vil sidder lidt for sig selv. Dejlig stor indkørsel til bilerne. Området er dejligt stille og samtidig tæt på alting.

Sehr schöne, ruhig gelegene Finca mit sehr nettem Gastgeber
Wir waren Ende/März/Anfang April als 6 Erwachsene in der Finca. Diese liegt am Rand eines Naturparks in landwirtschaftlich genutztem Gebiet. Auf der Finca fühlt man sich sofort sehr wohl, die Fotos entsprechen den Gegebenheiten, nur dass alles noch größer ist als erwartet. Es ist alles sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Finca hat insbesondere eine wunderbare große Küche mit 5-Flammen-Gasherd sowie zahlreichen Kochbüchern, die Ausstattung mit den nötigen Kochuntensilien ist dagegen etwas sparsam gehalten. Gewürze und Basics (Salz, Zucker) etc sind nicht vorhanden und müssen erst besorgt werden. Steve ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber, der auf alle Wünsche eingeht, und uns mit Früchten der Saison beschenkt hat. Weitere Anmerkungen: (i) Das Haus kann mit 2 Kaminen und einem Gasheizer beheizt werden, für uns war es an den kühlen Abenden so ausreichend warm - eine Zentralheizung wie in der Beschreibung angegeben gibt es aber nicht. (ii) Der Kickertisch ist defekt, was uns aber nicht gestört hat, da wir kein Tischfußball spielen. (iii) WLAN funktioniert bestens, zum Video-Streamen geeignet. Am besten HDMI-Kabel mitbringen und auf dem großen Fernseher schauen. (iv) Über Smart-TV sind auch Streaming Angebote nutzbar. (v) Die Finca hat ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, dafür sieht man über manche Kleinigkeiten, die nicht perfekt sind, und die ich hier nicht aufzählen will, weil sie nicht gestört haben, gern hinweg. (vi) Zu den Supermärkten (Carrefour, Mercadonna) benötigt man mit PKW 20-30 min, auch Lidl und Aldi sind in der Distanz zu finden. (vii) Vom Haus aus kann man übrigens eine sehr schöne 2,5h-Wanderung rund um den Hausberg unternehmen, auch dessen Gipfel besteigen, von wo man bei klarer Sicht einen wunderbaren 360°-Blick hat, bis nach Gibraltar und die Nordküste Afrikas; von Finca auf die Straße laufen, dort rechts und 2. Querstraße (an Bushaltestelle) links, und dann immer geradeaus. Der Aufstieg auf den Berg befindet sich auf der Hälfte des Rundweges, d.h. auf der anderen Seite des Berges. Im Frühjahr wunderschön - dann blüht alles und man geht durch einen Teppich von Blumen und Ginster.

prachtig huis met veel ruimte en voorzien van alle comfort
We hebben een heerlijke week gehad met onze kinderen . Het huis leent zicht perfect voor een goed samenzijn , een heerlijke ruime goed ingerichte keuken voor veel culinaire uitspattingen en groot buitenverblijf met een super barbecue en een lekker zwembad voor veel waterplezier. ieder stel zijn eigen privé plek. alles was top! prachtige omgeving maar een auto is onmisbaar. zeker aan te raden!
