Casa Karibu is a spacious, contemporary villa situated in the foothills of the Sierra de Mijas mountain range. The villa is surrounded by an acre of mature garden and is positioned in a peaceful, elevated location with stunning uninterrupted panoramic views of the countryside, mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.
Casa Karibu has been a family home for almost 40 years and has recently been completely renovated and re-decorated to a high standard.
The villa’s layout on two floors makes it an excellent choice for families, offering privacy and generous space. On the first floor and central within the villa, is a very large, open-plan, split-level, double lounge and dining area with a large terrace that extends the full front of the property. On this level there are two spacious double en-suite bedrooms (master bedroom with separate dressing room and french doors opening onto the terrace), a modern, well-equipped kitchen opening into the dining room, a children’s bedroom with bunk-beds sleeping 3, and a separate guest shower/wc. A further two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom and access to the garden, patio and pool area are located downstairs.

Lovely villa in great location with good views. Use of our rental car & taxis essential.
Overall very good, clean, tidy ,well kept. Attentive hostess who was quick to respond. A couple of issues with utilities which beyond owners control but all fixed in time. Plenty of space for a family holiday so it ticked those boxes.

Super villa pour une famille tri-générationnelle!
Nous avons passé une super vacance en famille grands-parents, et nos 2 filles et leur famille respective, 11 en tout avec les 5 petits-enfants. La villa est dans un emplacement magnifique, la piscine est super, la villa très grande et très bien équipée. Mijas est une belle découverte.

Ein wunderschöner Platz für den entspannten Familienurlaub
Die Villa ist sehr schön und persönlich gestaltet. Es gibt jederzeit schattige Plätze, von denen man den Blick auf Fuengirola und das Meer genießen kann. Die Aufteilung des gesamten Grundstücks ermöglicht es auch mit größeren Gruppen (wir waren zu neunt), dass jeder einen Platz für sich findet und gleichzeitig gibt es die Möglichkeit, dass alle zusammen kommen können.
Einmal pro Woche wurden der Garten und der Pool (ca. 4x8 Meter) gepflegt und die Villa gereinigt. Die Kommunikation mit Cathy war hervorragend. Sie hat sich mehrmals von sich aus gemeldet und gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Wirklich toll.
Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Zimmer sind teils schön, teils sehr schön gestaltet.
Das Grundstück ist wunderbar eingewachsen, so dass man wirklich für sich sein kann und gleichzeitig niemanden stört, wenn es im Pool mal hoch her geht.
In das schöne Städtchen Mijas Pueblo fährt man ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto.
Wenn es überhaupt kleine Kritikpunkte gibt, dann höchstens dass das Internet nur recht eingeschränkt funktioniert (Handynetz (4G) ist aber gut verfügbar) und das Kinderzimmer relativ beengt ist. Für uns war das jedoch kein Nachteil. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit sehr gerne wiederkommen.

God beliggenhed og gode udenomsarealer.
Vi har været 4 familier med 4 børn hvoraf to på 1 1/2 år. Dejlig plads til alle. Rigtig godt område rundt om poolen og spiseområde.
