"Very nice. I would stay again Consistent with being a former convent, it's simple & humble, & very clean and orderly. Nice breakfast. Wonderful location - situated at Olinda's hilltop with beautiful views of the city and water. My room had 2 twin beds & a sink (nothing more), with shared baths (very clean!) down the hallway. Know that there's still a big Catholic statue in middle of the courtyard & religious paintings around (maybe it's still owned by the church?) Receptionist 24 hours who lets you in. On street with many arts/souvenir vendors & restaurants, including Art & Grill (nice fish, but steak for one is thin & dry). Down the hill are some lively bars, & beautiful Pausada do Amparo - gorgeous hotel & also nice restaurant (modestly priced), & wonderful (but pricey!) Oficina do Sabor restaurant."
