At 76 having to climb outdoor old timber stairs when by booking in March I should have been in the main building ( like the rest of my extended family.) Old fixtures… I had to kick my shower door open to exit. Cleanliness was fair. Photos of the Hotels ‘Hayday’ do look ‘GRAND’!

A bit noisy

The room was large, but it came with a couple of dead blowflies. We were told that we had been upgraded. The room was located over the sportsman's bar which just happens to be on the busy intersection where the trucks pull up to the lights and then turn right until late at night. The room was a long way from the entrance to the hotel and the parking for your car which was across the road. This may not have been a problem usually, but 6 weeks post surgery for a knee replacement made it more difficult, especially with a crutch and luggage. The location was good.

The hotel was very convenient and the staff were excellent. My wife needed extra help as she is physically handicapped and needed to use the second entrance as the main hotel has many steps, so after hours when the gates to the entrance were locked we had get the check in staff to open up for us. They did this without ant hassles oe delay. Well done.
