The house layout is perfect for comfort, entertainment, relaxation, and providing several great gathering spaces and quiet spaces. The house was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable extended family weekend."

"The house is lovely and well suited for a large group. There are a ton of activities in the basement for older kids and adults. They were also toys and books for children in the family room. There is a huge amount of storage space around the house and beds were very comfortable. The views were outstanding. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the deck due to very hot temperatures. We sat outside one evening. The cushions were a bit worn and so was some of the furniture. The deck needs to be stained. The supplies were reasonable. It would’ve been nice to have a second big skillet for cooking. Several of the pans and cookware were worn and needed to be replaced. It is not an ideal central location to activities.It is a bit further drive to the Cumberland Falls and other activities. It does not have lake access from the property. Nice sized beaches were further away. The smoke detector alarm went off at 2:00 AM. The host did not respond to our call until the next morning. We ended up researching what to do. It gave us guidance on how to clean the device which stopped the alarm from beeping. Everyone including two small children were wKen by the load and piercing alarm. We could not get back to bed for hours. Hostess response was not ideal. No apology for the inconvenience. Despite the beautiful interior of the house and spacious layout with beautiful views , we would not stay there again."

"The property was in great shape when we arrived! Property was as described and shown in listing :) loved the pet friendly option as our fur friends need a vacation too! The property had tons of land for our 3 pups to run and explore! I think the property could benefit from some more out door lights. The open field becomes mighty dark at night and the porch lights only help so much. Hot tub and fire pit were huge perks in enjoying the outdoors. Overall great stay and would definitely recommend checking them out whenever you’re in the Lake Cumberland/Somerset area "
