Perfect Jumping Off Point to Boone & Beyond!

Lookout Lodge was a perfect hub spot for all of our Boone area adventures! The property was very clean and well appointed - and THE VIEWS!!!Jack is a super attentive host and was very responsive to all requests. We'd love to come back!

Everything was perfect! The decor of the cabin set the mountain mood and the hosts had everything available that we could possibly need or want. Really enjoyed celebrating our 45rth anniversary there and would definitely go back again with family. I have to say our first concern on arrival was the traffic noise but inside the cabin we didn't hear a thing and slept like babies. Amazing view and beautiful decorations that give a cozy vibe.

Cabin was very clean. Place was equipped with everything you may need. Decor was really nice with each bedroom having their theme. Also, learning the history of the cabin was an added bonus. Of course, the view was incredible!!

The house and the views were great! Loved reading about the history and seeing how it was remodeled. The house was still decorated for Christmas which made it even more special. The house had everything we needed. We had a great time!

We so enjoyed our stay! The house was fully equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable. The back deck and the view of the mountains is absolutely stunning! not to be missed! We had a lovely time at Lookout Lodge! We enjoyed being close to the Parkway and several hiking trails. Cabin is also close to several different choose and cut tree farms if you’re coming to get a tree like we were! The view from the back deck is hard to beat! Although because the view is so great and the lodge is so close to the road, you do get people stopping to take pictures throughout the day! Very cozy cabin, nicely appointed and decorated and extremely well stocked and clean. We would stay here again!!

Perfect mountain getaway

We had the most magical time at the lookout lodge, the location is driving distance to so many beautiful sites. The cabin is perfectly stocked with everything you need. Our entire trip was rained out and our experience was still incredible! Fun fact, the county has a tackle rental program if you want to trout fish you can rent tackle from the TLP program.

The view of the mountains are so beautiful from the back deck. The owner had everything that you need if you forgot to bring something . I loved that he had a different theme for each bedroom and I also loved the way he decorated everything. I most definitely recommend this place for your stay.
