"Clean, cozy, and calm. Extremely comfortable bed. Great a/c. Great water pressure. Wonderful cross breeze with the windows open. Very quiet.No tv or internet which was exactly what we needed."

"The rooms were great, the view and property were amazing. The only two things that I would have changed would be a better scrubber for the pots instead of just dishrags to get a good clean, and our biggest drawback was the fridge barely working and the freezer not working at all. The food we purchased for the weekend had to be kept in coolers with ice we had to go buy after we had lost all of the frozen items. Not really something they could help without knowing beforehand, but we did lose money and food because of it. I would absolutely stay again if the fridge was fixed. "

"Remote staff consistent with many nice hotels in small towns. Clean and comfortable. Spartan, but all expected accoutrements provided (blow dryer). No outside windows but that helps with sleeping late and is expected when an old mercantile is converted to hostelry. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"A real gem sits nestled back in the liveoaks off Hwy 183 north of Lometa with immaculate landscaping, picnic tables, a giant outdoor chess set, and the cutest 3 ft pig you've ever seen. The home is immaculate and so lovingly decorated - and it feels like a home, not a house. Lori has done a wonderful job equipping the house with all the essentials plus some wonderful extras. A basket with snacks, water, and some great Lometa tumblers welcomed us. And the bed is beyond belief comfortable - we have stayed in 5 star hotels that didn't have beds this comfortable. We both slept delicious (as they say in the Netherlands)! We will most definitely book with Lori again, she is the cream of the crop of hosts!"
