We had a great stay on the farm - it was quiet and peaceful for a weekend away. Our kids loved the chickens and listening to records. We even were able to see the northern lights. Friendly hosts and very welcoming!
The owner greeted us when we arrived. There were homemade Blueberry Scones for breakfast; YUM!! The house was cozy. Lots of room on the property to walk our dogs. Quiet, peaceful. Just what we needed, as we were in Wisc from AZ for my mother's funeral.
Absolutely tranquil.Julie and Georgia were wonderful hosts. Loved the ducks and chickens. My dogs loved to watch them ( zI kept my dogs on leashes, but the just enjoyed watching the ducks walks around the farm. Brought back such wonderful memories of visiting my Aunt and uncle when I was little. The scones were DELICIOUS

Relax, refresh!!
Had a relaxing time at the farm. The eagles were amazing!! The farmhouse was filled with so much nostalgia, that I felt like a kid again. Our host was great and had everything ready for our arrival, including a wonderful treat. If you are wanting a family gathering, this is the place! The grounds are beautiful and serene. Thanks again!!
This farm house was amazing. Very clean and very peaceful. The owners were great with communication and loved reading about their history with the home.
A historic working family farm, quiet, full of nature. Hosts are excellent!! Upstairs bath is bath only, 1st floor shower, well water. Beds are so comfy! Nastalgic and welcoming. Thanks so much!

Get away up north
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. It was a nostalgic step back in time, as I grew up on a farm. Unlike many BNBs, it felt like we were a guest in someone's home (in a good way). It was very comfortable and well supplied - and so quiet! We enjoyed our chats with Julie about the history of the farm and area.
This adorable property was the perfect escape for a quiet weekend from the city. Set on farm land far and wide is the cutest house full of history. We loved it and will definitely be back!
A very charming farmhouse on a beautiful and peaceful piece of property. Extremely kind owner and we felt very at-home and welcome. What a privilege to share in the memories and history of this property from the knick-knacks and notes left by the owner. We enjoyed an old record or two and had our morning coffee outside watching the chickens, ducks, goats, and wildlife. We ultimately just needed a few beds to sleep in in the area for a friend's wedding, but the stay here was an awesome bonus to the trip - a comfortable time capsule in a peaceful location. We hope to return here when we make a trip back to the area next spring/summer!
A trip back in time but with modern conveniences! We really didn't spend much time at the house but appreciated the comfy beds, full kitchen and the fact it was set back from the road enough to be very quiet when we were there. The fresh scones were a wonderful treat too! Host is great to work with!!

Perfect Retreat
We were looking for a dog friendly place to which to retreat when we needed to from the commotion of a family reunion. The farm was perfect. Our dogs loved running in the fields. The hosts were warm and gracious. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.
Beautiful country farmsite where you can get away from the hustle and bustle. The surises were awesome with the young eagle sitting by the nest in the back yard. If you grew up on a farm, the farmhouse was very nostalgic with furnishimgs dating back many years.
The farm was exactly as you expect. Homey, fun to explore, has chickens, has an old fashioned farm house feel! We loved it!! Strawberry scones were freshly baked and they were delicious!! We played games, records, collected eggs! Learning about bout the eagles was fascinating! Georgia brought us the scones recipe and a coffee grinder.
Loved the property. Quiet and peaceful. My sisters and I had a lot of fun watching the chickens and ducks. Also the eagle and the bunnies. Julie was a great hostess, we had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with her. When we arrived, there were fresh blueberry scones, and they were delicious. Everything we needed was available. We really enjoyed listening to the collection of vinyl. There were a lot of what we listened to as teenagers. There are a lot of nostalgic items in the home, which brought back great memories for us of when we were growing up. It was a wonderful sisters trip.
I cannot say enough about our stay on the Farm. We were welcomed by the farm Duck, Mr. Darcy as soon as we arrived and to see the chickens out and active and was a delight to see as we drove uo the gravel driveway. The farm pictures don't do this property justice. It's what the pictures show but 10,000 times better. Julie is an excellent host and the homemade blueberry muffins were delicious. Julie is responsive and available if needed. We sat out on lawn chairs and watched the eagles come and go from their nest (the largest I've ever seen)for over an hour. So peaceful and entertaining. Plenty of space to play catch, ride the provided bikes and enjoy the country scenery. We ended each night playing games at the large dining room table listening to the records on the vintage record player. All of this to say I'm a city girl but loved every minute of our time at the farm. Thank you Julie, our family is grateful!
We stayed two nights.
During the second night, we could not sleep due to a metallic, scratching, squeaking, unnerving, and unbearable extremely loud noise. This very annoying disturbance was caused by the rotating wind wheel. It was a very dreadful experience.
There was a distracting buoy like horn sound probably caused by the water pipes. It was present after the use of toilet flush, shower, or washer. We did not flush the toilets and made it possible that the sound was absent during the night.
The deadbolt of the back door could not be moved, thus it was not possible to close this door properly. The issue was probably caused by rust corrosion.
The owner received $188 and refunded the second night. The host (Evolve) received $178 and did not refund anything.
We wanted a quiet and undisturbed sleep. The surrounding may be quiet (no highway) but the property was very loud.
We cannot recommend this place, and we cannot recommend Evolve.
The house and property was exactly what you would want in a farmhouse! Location is very quiet and we had the whole farm to ourselves, except for the the chickens which were added plus. Owners came by to check on us a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed. If you want to disconnect and relax this is a perfect spot. Hopefully, we will get to use the houise again next year!
I had a wonderful experience with my family on this property with acres of land and beautiful greenery. The farmhouse was spacious and the owner was nice enough to have our 4 dogs stay! The barn is awesome and there’s even a chicken coop with fresh eggs. We even had delicious scones home-cooked upon arrival waiting for us. It was so peaceful and just serene, would love to visit again! Great peaceful getaway with the family and pets
We had a very relaxing weekend at the farmhouse. Loved the cozy decor and looking at all the collectibles. Great collection of media- fun to look through all the VHS, records and cassette tapes. The property is very scenic and peaceful. Very friendly hosts! Overall highly recommend!
We all absolutely loved the property!!
Julie was very sweet and accommodating. The house was cozy yet large, with plenty of room for all 6 of us to spend the night. We felt safe and comfortable, and enjoyed the large space outside to eat dinner by the firepit.
Wildlife spotted- sandhill cranes, eagles, geese, woodducks, deer.
Wildlife heard- frogs, crickets
The chickens were not close enough to the house or loud enough to wake us up in the morning. Julie let us look for eggs in the coop for breakfast! Only found one (didn't look very long) but it was delicious!!
