The dwelling is well appointed and comfortably furnished and it was appreciated the rooms were preheated before arrival because the night was cold and the structure would not retain heat well. The accommodation is spacious and convenient in the context of other facilities in Burra."

"Very pet Friendly. The most beautiful tree framed driveway down which to walk each morning with our dear old dog. A wonderful fire with great dry redgum wood. We were very cozy. Mintaro is so pretty and The Magpie & Stump Hotel serves great food! In Peppertree there are steep internal steps so be careful during the night if you need to visit the bathroom."

"The house is well sited for visits to places of interest in Burra. It is somewhat large than I expected, with a room adjacent to each bedroom. In the lounge room there is a good wood burning heater and lots of firewood is provided, as well as kindling etc, for starting the fire. The host was very helpful and prompt in responding to our enquiries. Overall, it's a good place to stay."
