This beautifully renovated mountain cabin blends modern features with a traditional cabin feel, due in large part to its natural surroundings. Lounge blissfully in front of the cozy fireplace, enjoy the relaxing porch swing, toast s'mores around the firepit, or go for a soothing soak in the hot tub. When you're not pulling fish out of one of the many nearby rivers, cuddle up with someone you love in the spacious living area to enjoy a good book, a movie, or play a game together. The full kitchen is equipped with all the appliances and utensils you need to make a terrific fish dinner and delicious side dishes. Serve it up out on the screened porch table then use the gas grill to put a little char on some fresh Georgia peaches for dessert.
Copperhill is only 7.5 miles away, while Blue Ridge is only 11.4 miles away and offers lots of great activities such as hiking, tubing, fishing, and golfing, as well as restaurants. Check out the many craft breweries like Fannin Brewing Company, Grumpy Old Men Brewing, and Copperhill Brewery, and vineyards such as Serenberry Vineyards, Mercier Orchards, and Bear Claw Vineyards. You'll also enjoy all the live music events such as Live Music is Better at Blue Ridge Community Theater, Pickin in the Park along the Toccoa River, not to mention all the live music you'll find in the downtown area at the local breweries, wineries, and restaurants. Zipline Canopy Tours of Blue Ridge offers an aerial challenge course and scenic views of the area.

A beautiful mountain cabin, close to amazing hikes, rivers, and lakes. Blue ridge and Copperhill are fun towns to pop into. Our stay wasn’t long enough!

Relaxing weekend
This was the perfect cabin for our much needed weekend getaway. The cabin was secluded but close to town. It was very clean & had plenty of room. The screened in porches was my favorite. Our last night it rained & it was so relaxing listening to the rain on the tin roof while we relaxed in the hot tub. We will stay here again soon.

The Sleepy Bear Hideaway was perfect for our long weekend with the family! The screened in porches were great and the three levels of sleeping areas ensured everyone could spread out. The layout was perfect! Having the pool table and game area downstairs was something the kids loved. They spent hours playing pool! The cabin was absolutely beautiful and had all the comforts of home to make our stay relaxing and fun. The hot tub and fire pit area was great and we enjoyed the private location. We are already planning a return trip to the area soon and would definitely book The Sleepy Bear Hideaway again!
Gorgeous views of nature, lots of windows, fully stocked cupboards, clean hottub, gas fireplace, and nice outdoor sitting areas to enjoy. We went in February and could see a mountain in the distance from the back porch.
Be sure to bring your K-cup or coffee grounds, they have a nice coffee bar set up to enjoy!
The game room downstairs was fun. The pool table was a litle tricky to play in a narrow room, but that didnt stop us from enjoying it. We'd book this cabin again!

Serenity
The Sleepy Bear Hideaway is a perfect name for this home and location. The property has three levels of porch and three levels of sleeping areas, two bedrooms and a beautiful loft with full bathrooms on each level. This layout proved perfect for our three generation group. The full kitchen is complete with new appliances and kitchen and meal preparation and serving supplies. A dining area for eight was perfect for family meals. The comfortable living room, fireplace and porch swing became the gathering place for morning coffee and after dinner family time. The big circular outside fire pit is an amazing new addition and another inviting gathering spot. We enjoyed six relaxing days of at home comfort with no issues. ‘Highly recommend this well prepared and appointed cabin for short and extended stays. BTW: the laundry room washer and dryer allowed us to return home with clean laundry too.

Relaxing getaway
We loved the privacy, quiet environment, the cabin and porches were perfect.
Our Family wanted to do something different and start a new tradition. We went to this cabin for our christmas vacation. Although it was not decorated in Christmas we still had an amazing time. None of us wanted to come back home to reality.
We really enjoyed our stay. The only issues were we found out the hot tub was out of order and on the 2nd day we found out it worked and only 1 of the pool cues had a tip. (We love playing pool). It was definelty a pet friendly cabin. Also, do not follow GPS once you get to the last turn. It will take you to the road next to it. 😉 Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Cute MT Cabin
Cute cabin. Had everything we needed. Really enjoyed it! Main bathroom door lock needs to be fixed. I got stuck in there for a while. The cover on the hot tub looked questionable so we didn’t use it. The road up the cabin is bumpy and that is putting it nicely. Overall good experience. Would rent again.
Property has opportunities, but we had a good time.
Property has safety issues. Grey water drains in yard next to firepit. Possibly from washing machine? It had an odor and we had to move leaves and brush over the drainage to avoid mud and slips. Bathroom door on main floor not to code. Walker would not fit through. Steps are not even per building codes. Top is only about 2 inch so there was a trip issue. Luckily I fell going up the stairs not fall down the stairs. Ceiling over basement sofa bed has a leak. 2 of the dinning room chairs badly broken. We had to put them away so no one landed in the floor. The basement toilet is not anchored down so it tips sideways when you add it on it. The furniture is not dusted often, side tables etc. They are dirty and some broken. Under beds and sofas dirty. I would suggest moving to retrieve items. Don't reach under blindly. No bedding for sofa bed and not enough towels for the amount of (8) guest unless you washed multiple loads daily. No waste baskets downstairs.

Crimson Bear Mountain
This is not a cabin we would choose to stay in again. We had quite a few issues. The microwave doesn’t work unless you unplug it. The dining chairs were in need of repair. Two of them were coming apart at the legs. The 3 outside trash cans were completely overflowing with trash at check in. We had no room for our trash. The beds were not comfortable. The gravel road to get to cabin was very rough and had huge holes you had to attempt to dodge. The A/C took a full 24 hours to get to even a bearable temperature and the bedroom on the main level never cooled down. The downstairs bathroom toilet was so wobbly it could literally fall over. I was very displeased with our stay at this cabin.

Pleasant stay
Overall the cabin was nice. The microwave didn't work and the outside trash was still full, but when I contacted Vacasa, they responded quickly and took care of the issues. They were very helpful. The cabin was spacious and peaceful.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Cabin was ok.
The gravel road, about 800' uphill was severely washed from recent rains. It was extremely challenging entering and leaving the property. The ruts from the wash were like driving over speed bumps. More than half of the gravel road was affected. It needs to be scraped and regraveled.

The only problem we had were the bedsheets - Not comfortable at all, but great property for a reasonable price. We loved the board game selection.

Christmas Family Vacation
We loved the atmosphere & location of the cabin. There were a few things that need repairing (a couple dining room chairs were very unstable, the bathroom toilet downstairs was wobbly and there was no extra toilet paper besides what was on the roll) but overall it was a great vacation and place to stay. I would definitely recommend this place to family & friends.
The house was nice and amenities well cared for. The house did need a thorough dusting and it dmelled of old food when we arrived. I think this may have been from the people before us not taking out their trash then the house I think was cleaned the day we arrived.
We would stay again!!

My family and I had a great stay. The cabin was comfortable for the 9 of us. We enjoyed the porches and hot tub and roasting marshmallows on the fire pit. We would definitely stay again!
