cozy mountain cabin retreat with HEAT PUMP for air conditioning or heat. Located in the mountains just a few minutes from lake Almanor and Mountain town of Chester.Creeks, Hunting, Fishing, UTV or ATV mountain off-roading , within 2-3 miles distance.... Winter is special and beautiful with snow and perfect setting for Christmas and Thanksgiving away . 2 blocks away within walking distance is a quaint restaurant offering home cooked food. All towns people are very friendly welcoming all who visit. Spring is delightful in the pine tree setting all around. and the aroma of pine where squirrels, rabbits, deer are visible everywhere in the rustling woods..

The property was extremely welcoming and cozy, and incredibly convenient to Lassen Volcanic NP. Our hosts provided extremely thoughtful touches to enhance our stay, and beds were extremely comfortable. Wi-Fi was strong. It was an excellent stay for our family.

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful and cozy cabin with abundant amenities. The host, Debi, is very nice and thoughtful in providing us a comfortable, warm and clean place for our trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Checking in/out was easy and straightforward. Communication with Debi was smooth and quick via Vrbo. The cabin is well equipped and plenty of amenities from kitchen to bathroom and bedroom. Overall, we love the place and will definitely return in the future.

Mineral Cabin

Cute cabin and perfect for our family of 5. Host provided great communication! Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. Felt like we were visiting a beloved family cabin. Kids enjoyed the playground close by. Would definitely stay again!!

This cozy, comfortable cabin made a perfect base for my husband and I to explore Lassen Volcanic NP-the park's entrance is just a few miles away. Outfitted with everything we needed, including a washer and dryer, it was clean, had great Wifi, easy parking and a lot of cozy, woodsy touches that made us feel right at home. Check-in was very easy, finding the cabin was easy and Debi and Milt even kept us informed during a brief power outage-completely beyond their control. We would definitely return if in the area again!

The closest you can get to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Very comfortable cabin that had everything we expected and more! Extremely clean, comfortable beds, heat, full kitchen, drip coffee, quiet neighborhood and good restaurant nearby but also isolated in nature. The washer & dryer were extras that came in handy after a couple of wet and muddy days hiking the park.Check-in was easy. No issues with the property.We would definitely stay here again.

Love this place

We loved this cabin! Fully stocked and has a dog run. Owners were very responsive when I couldn't figure out the heater. Thanks for the lovely stay!

Great cabin in close proximity to Lassen National Park, which was our goal. Property was incredibly clean, kitchen was well-equipped. There were additional nice touches, like snacks waiting for us after a long day of travel and toothbrushes set out for our use. So comfortable and cozy!
