"This is the best B&B I have ever stayed at! The room is spacious and super clean.The hosts were so warm and welcoming. Chad offered some awesome recommendations for renting bicycles and getting around the lake to see the sights. Linda cooked an amazing breakfast for us each morning. I highly recommend Sun Moon Lake 5Boat B&B to those visiting日月潭! Best accomodations I've experienced so far in Taiwan. "

"Great view of the Sun Moon Lake!!! Very convenient in the heart of town. Room was clean though the bathroom layout is a bit awkward. Breakfast area faces the lake and has both Chinese and Continental offerings."

"Swimming pool was empty of water. Fruit flies infested dining area. Large, comfortable rooms with good bed and good bathroom. "

"This is a B&B stay for traveler. Visitors must contact the day before to checkin. The front counter closes at 10 pm. We didn't look at the Expedia fine print so we arrived there at midnight and the hotel was closed. Luckily, the neighbor's vendors was relative of the hotel and contacted the owner and the owner came down to open the door for us. "

"Room was pretty ok. What turned me off was the person at the restaurant/ make shift check in counter told me if I did not like the room, I could leave, he is fine with it. This leaves me thinking what's wrong with the place? There is no proper entrance. It is more of a going through a restaurant to get to the rooms. Room was spacious and was clean. Bathroom was alright. The photos were nicer"
