"Laurie is an excellent host in her very large, clean, smartly decorated lower dublex unit.She graciously allowed us to have a small dinner party and even accepted our invitation to join us for a bit.Her welcome treats were delicious, the kitchen well equipped. Thank you, Laurie!"

"This is a beautiful property and located in a convenient location for our visit with family in Shorewood and Glendale in mid-August. Both units were clean and well-maintained. The decor is attractive, and the house itself has "good bones" with lovely vintage features.Amenities were very good. Excellent Wifi. The air conditioning was especially good in the lower unit, which was much appreciated during our mid-August stay. The bedrooms in the upper unit were on the warm side, so a fan for each bedroom would be welcome. Overall, the kitchens were well-equipped although the upper unit seemed to have a greater variety of skillets, baking utensils, etc., than the lower unit, possibly due to migration between family renters. The Keurig coffee makers were convenient.The property is also close to a good natural foods store, Outpost, and just a few minutes from Metro Market for a wide variety of groceries.Overall, I highly recommend this property and would stay there again."

"Cute house in a not so great neighborhood. The neighbors there during our stay were very nice but felt they had to look out for us because we were out of place haha. Cute house that clearly the owner put work into. Great distance from everything. A good stay overall. "
