Plenty of Room/Great Location

This property was perfect for our multi-aged family to use - lots of bedrooms and beds and plenty of living space! The yard was fenced for our dog, as well. The neighborhood is quiet, a nice area about 10-15 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. The kids in our trip were especially excited for the playground and (free) wading pool across the street! Joe was very helpful with booking our stay and making sure things were clear and positive for our trip. We will definitely recommend this location to anyone traveling to the Minneapolis area.

Perfect stay

The home was perfect for what we needed! The two living areas were great to be able to have separate spaces. The kitchen was great and the basement was a perfect hangout. Happy with the location with stores minutes away and easy access to the highway. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay!

This VRBO was spotless from top to bottom, with every corner carefully cleaned and well-maintained. Our host Joe was exceptional—thoughtful, communicative, and genuinely welcoming. The Nordeast

Our family rented this property for a wedding in the cities. The check-in process was easy, the keypad worked great, the fenced in back yard was wonderful for our dogs, there was plenty of street parking, there were more than enough beds for our group and the host was easy to communicate with.

Nordeast Quiet

Great place to stay for the family and our dogs. There were 8 of us that slept comfortably and the back deck is very relaxing. The kitchen was great and easy to use. And there is a steam shower downstairs. Easy check in and great communication with Joe

Great House in a Ideal Neighborhood!

We loved our stay at this house in Minneapolis. There is so much space for many people to stay comfortably. The neighborhood is quiet and the park across the street was amazing for our kids. We enjoyed the community splash pad and wading pool everyday! The host was quick to respond to a change in our group size and the house was ready for our arrival. Lots of great local food options - The Dive Bar and Grill, Parkway Pizza and Sara Jane's Bakery were all great!

Vikings Monday night football

We went up for two days to see the city and go to a Monday night football game. Everything was super clean and the steam shower was amazing.

Clean, comfortable home with a lot of room and in a great neighborhood. Location was perfect for us to hit the State Fair and explore the Twin Cities. My daughter loved it so much she said “I wish we lived here!” We brought our dogs as well and they loved the house, the fenced in yard, and the neighborhood. The host (Joe) was great. Professional, polite, and great communication. All around great experience and highly recommend.

Northeast Neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay in Northeast Minneapolis. It was in a quiet neighborhood. The house itself was fair-had all the amenities we needed. The house smelled a bit musty, could benefit from a dehumidifier in the summer months. The two bathrooms were nice to have for our group of ten. The basement bathroom had black mold around the shower. But for the little time we spent there, it was okay. Thanks for having us.

Perfect for families

The house was clean and had all the necessary amenities so our family could enjoy a relaxing weekend. The code lock system was easy to use. We appreciated the owners stopping by to shovel the deck and sidewalks after a dusting of snow fell the first night. Our only suggestion is to oil or tighten the hinges on the bunk bed upstairs. It was so squeaky that the kids couldn't sleep on it and had to sleep on the couches instead. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and we would rent this location again.

It worked great for us . There were 8 of us and with two gathering areas we could let the younger ones play video games downstairs. Would have liked a TV upstairs. Only other thing was there were some bugs. Maybe need an exterminator. Otherwise was great.

We chose this place because it had many good reviews. However, we didn’t find it so great. On the positive side, it is a good-sized house with four bedrooms and had more than one bathroom.However, the downstairs had a very strong litterbox odor that really hits you as you descend the staircase. We suffered through that smell for four nights. Ugh! The rules said to sort the trash into garbage, recyclables, and organic waste. We were ok doing this, but the recyclable bin was more than half full when we arrived and the organic waste bucket that was supposedly on the kitchen counter, wasn’t. Also, the rules said that we would find laundry baskets in the bedroom closets for dirty towels. There weren’t. Perhaps the rules should be updated, especially given that the host sends you a message telling you to make sure you abide by the rules. The oven was filthy and there was only ONE dishwasher tab left for a four-night stay and I refused to buy more, especially after having to buy toilet tissue. There were no laundry baskets for dirty towels (ref. the rules) and extra bed linens were just tossed on the floor in closets. And then there was the cockroach in the downstairs bath. Sorry, but I expect more when renting through a site like VRBO. And one last note for the hosts – the upstairs bath tub drains very slowly. You also have a broken hinge on the cabinet door by the sliding glass doors in the kitchen (we found it broken when we arrived.)

The perfect stay

Clean house. Perfect fenced yard. Nicest neighborhood. Quiet. Highest quality kitchen, wonderful crisp sheets, large deck. Steam shower. The amenities add up! It was just my dogs and I this weekend but this house could accommodate a horde. For my visit and what I needed it was perfection. I needed to recharge. There is a huge park next to the house with a place to cool off and play in the water for kids or adventurous adults. So many good places to eat. So excited that even though I brought enough food I ordered delivery! I met a few neighbors and they were so Minnesota nice that I didn’t want to leave! The owner is especially sweet and was up for texting even though it wasn’t needed. I would recommend this place for a girls get together. A family vacation to the city or just down time by one’s self. It’s a great place!

The home was very spacious, clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable as well as the couches for reading and relaxing in the evenings.The owner communicated excellently before and during the stay which was appreciated as I was driving a long distance for this stay and knowing details about my arrival was great. The backyard being fenced was an plus and I enjoyed the quiet neighborhood where I could walk my dog. It was close to amenities and there was plenty of parking. I would stay here again if traveling for work in the same area!
