Great Getaway Enjoy Lake Living ~ 20 minutes from St Paul and Wisconsin

This home has a fireplace and a great front porch to watch sunsets from.
This is a large space for a wonderful family gathering or get together with friends . The kitchen is large for cooking and sets 8 to 10 in the dining room.

The lake is across the street and a city park is 1/ 2 block away . It's only 20 minutes from St. Paul and Wisconsin. You really feel your away from it all and a enjoying a totally different lifestyle. Enjoy! The home was built in 1908, and is newly remolded. The home is surrounded by perennials.

Charming older home, comfortable beds, all rooms nice size and living area so cozy, exactly what we had hoped for on a get away weekend in White Bear Lake. Host very responsive to any questions. Close to Stillwater, Woodbury and downtown White Bear Lake, really wonderful stay!

Nice location by the lake

Short walk to the lake, it has a sectioned off area for swimming. Plenty of bedrooms in the home and nice place to relax. The AC was nice since it was hot when we visited.

Perfect place to reconnect with old friends

Jane's place had plenty of room for us to visit. We stayed here for our high school girls get together. We sat on the deck to catch up with each other. The dining room table was the perfect spot to play cards! There are plenty of beds. The home has beautiful wood work and furnishings. We took a walk down to the beach to watch the sunset! So glad we found this rental!

Reminded me of home

This charming lake home was perfect for our 5 night stay close to Stillwater. Plenty of beds to choose from and a comfortable environment to enjoy family time. The dining room was key to our memorable family game enjoyment.

Very cozy

I rented this home for a sisters getaway. It really is a great space for a relaxing weekend. My sisters noted that the shower curtains had pink mold and the grout needed a good cleaning, thus the 4 stars. The kitchen was well stocked, although the knives could be better with more variety. I would rent again!

Great stay

My family and I loved staying in this house! It had a wonderful location and was so clean. The house fit our needs perfectly and we adored the front porch. My Mom and I sat out there a lot. The side deck was nice with the umbrella and view of the lake. The kids had plenty of space to play and relax. We walked around the neighborhood every day and down to the beach, the kids didn’t want to leave. When we come back we would stay here again.

Accommodations are great in the gem of a house. Multiple bedrooms was a plus. Just a heads up, there are steps to get into the front or back door. Not a deal breaker for our group but could be in a few years!

50 year reunion

6 college girlfriends getting together to celebrate 50 years since junior college graduation and we had an absolute blast! The house was perfect for us with plenty of room and a great deck where we enjoyed morning coffee and evenings filled with memories and laughter! Highly recommend this house!

Nice house with plenty of space

We were in Minnesota for a family gathering. This rental was spacious and the rooms provided plenty of space. It was clean and well maintained. We planned for and packed expecting to wash and dry clothes. (Washer and dryer was a listed item) two days in to our 6 night stay the host advised me that washer and dryer use is only for those staying a week or more. This was disappointing! Overall it was a pleasant stay

Great location, house could be better

This is a really cool old house in a great location. The house was very clean and everything was serviceable, but the house and furnishings are pretty worn. The beds were all pretty uncomfortable. The kitchen wasn't very well stocked, and there was no vent for the gas stove, so we ended up doing less cooking than planned. With just a little effort, this could definitely be five stars.

Mahtomedi summmer stay

Lots of space in this older home. It’s very clean, nothing fancy. Location was perfect for us. Has a good supply of kitchen amenities. Jane is very responsive. Would definitely stay again with family in town!
