"Overall the cabin is very cozy and comfortable. Clean; stocked with cooking ware. We use ATT cellular, which was NOT available in the area, but bypassed it with Wi-Fi, which worked well. It’s close to the road, but there’s not much traffic so it was pretty quiet. The river seating area is beautiful but it is close behind the other cabins, so if you prefer more privacy it’s a little awkward. We didn’t meet the owners, but they are right there on the property and seemed like very wonderful people😀. They are doing a nice job in keeping the property maintained and appears that they are continuing to improve it. We would stay again."

"The views were beautiful, there was more than we could have asked for as far as what was supplied. The only thing I did miss in the listing was there was no AC which I guess is common for Colorado. The great news is we brought a cool front with us. I would one hundred percent stay here again. I actually very much enjoyed being off the grid if we weren’t at the house. It was lovely!"

"This property exceeded our expectations: it features a beautiful interior with great craftsmanship, and welcoming patio areas with seating for outside dining or lounging along with a gorgeous hot tub (bonus: we were surrounded by hummingbirds!). We were within 30 minutes of great trails at Rocky Mountain National Park in one direction and Boulder in the other."

"I have been searching for the perfect cabin near Denver to “run away” to after a busy summer. I finally found it! Brookside will be my annual escape. You have provided for my every knee, including extra special touches. I was especially delighted to find the house slippers and chocolate cookies. My favorite thing is the hammock right beside the river – a dream come true! See you next year. You are very gracious hosts."

"The A-Frame is a truly unique place to stay. Retro and cozy on the beautiful St. Vrain River. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. It's about 12 miles outside Lyons so be prepared."

"We were looking for a cabin to serve as a home base for hiking in RMNP. This cabin was in the perfect location- less than 20 minutes from the Wild Basin entrance! Also close to the Indian Peaks Wilderness area. We enjoyed hiking trips in the mornings, afternoons on the deck listening to the river, and evenings in the hot tub. It could not have been more perfect!"
