Cozy cabin with backyard stream close to Au Sable River and the best ATV trails
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay started with a couple of issues. Before we even left we were notified that the hot tub was not working and were offered a different place or allowed to cancel. While we searched for other places we were told the hot tub was working so we kept our reservation. Upon arrival, we had no water in the cabin. Contacted the host and within 30 minutes they had a plumber there to fix it. What a GREAT HOST. The cabin is fully loaded with everything you need for a fantastic stay. This was our first vacation in 2 years and we were here 2 years ago. That says a lot about how good this cabin really is. I will definitely stay there again but I can only hope it will be sooner than 2 years. The bed is super comfy and all the amenities described are there. Bring your food and some firewood and you are done. Microwave, gas and Charcoal grill. Kuireg coffee maker. Toaster oven and stove. Silverware and plates, bowls and utensils for cooking. There are lots of things to see and do in the area."
"it’s such a beautiful property. I was only able to stop over one night on my way from Michigan to New York, but I’d love to go back someday and see more of it."

"Absolute 10/10 experience beginning with the owners being very accommodating and communication channels remained open even weeks before our arrival, and questions during our stay were answered quickly as well. Our group of 14 enjoyed everything from the upper outside deck, the fire pit, lower outdoor area right on the water, to the basement bar and lounge area. We would love to come back!"

8/10 Good
"Beautiful peaceful getaway. Boring even. End of summer and nothing to do but hike the beautiful property trails or go fish. Only caught small bluegill. Too cool and rainy to enjoy any swimming. Took our pontoon over to Mio dam but no luck fishing. Arrived at Paddle Inn first morning and they were closed. Had to eat breakfast at flea market next door. We were a party of 5 adults. Comfortable living room seating was very limited. Had to use a dining room chair for all to watch TV. My hubby and I were the least disabled so we got the upstairs loft bed. Miserable mattress with a plank of plywood between the mattress and box spring. We brought a dog. Plan on ways to secure your pet when outside, the deck cannot contain a dog and ours had to be next to us at all times. But I added it all up against the price of staying somewhere else and feel we got a good deal. Very beautiful surroundings. Super friendly locals."
