"Das Hotel ist sehr sauber. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, für eine Übernachtung aber vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Zimmer hatte eine eigene Toilette und eine Dusche. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Samurai-Distrikt entfernt."

"Very close to train station -30 second walk. But also very quiet no train noise. This is a modern hotel that was a joy to stay in. I would definitely recommend and would stay again if ever in Kakunodate again.
Check in is unmanned so you need your booking number and use the check in machine."

"This is a great place to have an authentic Japanese experience. The traditional rooms with tatami floors were spacious and clean. The bedding was light and warm. The onsen experience was very pleasant. The traditional breakfast was flavorful and so were the welcome snacks. Definitely a valuable experience for those visiting the area."

"We had a pleasant stay at Omagari Empire Hotel. The hotel may be slightly old-fashioned, but it was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was convenient, just a short distance from Omagari Station, with supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, which made our stay very convenient.

"Brand new property, Japanese style accommodation, with mattresses on the floor and walking without shoes inside the premises...free onsite parking, superb helpful and welcoming staff, free Odon noodle session, very good amenities, very fast internet, good sized room to Japanese standard, sumptuous breakfast, enough varieties for Vegans and Vegetarians. A bit limited compared with meat/fish and egg dishes, but enough to fill up.
Value for money hotel, with lifetime Japanese living experience.
The Breakfast Buffet food is labelled in English and Japanese, thus no need for enquiry from staff about content and ingredients."
"It’s located close to the station, plenty of restaurants and small shops around.
There is a supermarket, convenience store and laundry close by.
The staff is friendly and helped us to send out bags to the next hotel, lend us plates etc for our takeaway.
A really great value for money hotel in this town!
We stayed here and went on a daytrip (easy by train) to Kakunodate (Samurai Village)."
"The food was one of the best. We stayed two nights. It would have been better, if we could choose to stay without meal, because we found 2 meals a day was too much."

"Hotel Route Inn Omagari was spotless, good breakfast and very nice hot baths. We have always had a good experience with these hotels. Small rooms but very adequate. "
